About This Competition

Rumble in the Heights is back for its 3rd year with some big changes!

This year will feature an online qualifer for RX individual atheltes. The 4 qualifying workouts will be released on November 1, 2022 at noon EST. The deadline to complete and submit scores will be November 7, 2022 at 8pm EST. 

Those who qualify will be invited to compete live on December 2-3, 2022. Friday evening will feature a Max Lift event for teams and individuals. The remaining events will take place on Saturday. 

Below are some commonly asked questions:

Q: When is the qualifier?

A: November 1st through 7th. There will be 4 qualifying workouts to complete in that time frame. 

 

Q: How many athletes qualify?

A: This year we will bring 40 RX individuals to the main event. 

 

Q: What is that breakdown of qualifying athletes per division?

A: Individual- 20 Males & 20 Females 

 

Q: When are workouts released and when are scores due?

A: Workouts are released on November 1st at Noon EST and are due by November 7th 8PM EST. The leaderboard will not be visible during this window. 

 

Q: Where and when is the main event?

A: December 2-3, 2022 at CrossFit Downtown Heights, 1601 N Marion St., Tampa, FL 33602

 

Q: Do I need to video my qualifier workouts?

A: Yes, if you expect to qualify for the main event, we will need to verify your score via video submission. It is the responsibility of the athlete(s) to ensure that all movements and clock are adequately captured. 

 

Q: How much is the qualifier?

A: The qualifier is $25/person. There are no refunds.
