About This Competition
Get booked for our Barbels and Baubel Comp!
After a great turnout and some super efforts in our first 'End of Summer Throwdown', followed by the recent 'Pumpkin Pair Up', we are now super pumped to bring you our first Rx & Scaled Individuals Competition.
This will be a properly scored crossfit style throwdown with a focus on the barbell and some proper lungbusting wods...
The Scaled workouts are designed so that anyone within the community can participate. Whereas the Rx workouts will require you to be comfortable with the barbell and moderate loads as well as gymnastics on the bar.
You can MIX and MATCH workouts so you can go RX on a barbell workout, whilst choosing to scale something with, for example, pull ups in.
With the Open less than 90 days away, this is an excellent chance to test yourself!
Let's see what performance you can squeeze out when it matters, and best of all, when you have your whole community cheering for you!!

Workouts will be released week commencing 29th November.
Comp Starts at 9 sharp and last workout will be completed by 12.
Usual deal with supporters, friends and family - the more the merrier! Let's start the party season off with a bang before we all start coiffing champers and pigs in blankets all month 😂

- Thrusters (50/35kg)

6:00 minutes to set a 3 REP MAX Hang Power Clean
Athletes may use chalk and a belt but no grip aids (i.e. no straps)
Athletes Must Load and Unload Their Own Bar
