About This Competition

Overview

ARENA is CrossFit Talisman's individual competition held over three days, from the evening of Friday 2nd June (RX Athletes only) until Sunday 4th June at CrossFit Talisman, Hertford.


If you've ever been to one of our events before you'll know the atmosphere is always electric. Spectator tickets are free so if you're not competing come on down and enjoy the festival vibes.



Online Qualifiers

Online qualifiers cost £8 to enter and run from 7th March until 10th April. Video submissions to be made through the Team Aretas website.


7th March - Qualifier 1 released

10th March - Qualifier 2 released

13th March - Qualifier 3 released

10th April - Submission deadline for all qualifiers

24th April - First stage finals places released

05th May - Second stage finals invites

12th May - Final call for athletes to sign up

In-person finals will be held at CrossFit Talisman, Hertford.


Friday 2nd June, 6pm-9pm - RX Athletes Only

Saturday 3rd June, 8.30am-5.00pm - RX, Intermediate & Teen (12-16) Athletes

Sunday 4th June, 8.30am-5.00pm - Everyday & Masters (35+) Athletes

Divisions

RX (AKA Titans)

If you RX at competitions or the CrossFit Open then this division is for you.


Intermediate (AKA Spartans)

Spartans will be 'almost RX', this division features all but the highest skilled gymnastics at a lower volume than for our Titans.


Everyday (AKA Gladiators)

An open age group, from 18-80, our Gladiators category is a great place to start your competition experience, if you generally scale workouts in the Open or at the gym then give Gladiators a try.


Masters RX (AKA Titans)

Legends is our 35+ RX category. If this division isn’t for you we know you’ll fit in to our Spartan or Gladiators categories perfectly.


Teens RX (AKA Descendants)

Our 12-16 year old age category. Online qualifiers and workouts at our in-person finals will be split into two age groups (12-14 & 15-16) with weights adapted to suit the category.

Refunds

Refunds for athletes that can’t attend Arena finals through injury or other unforeseen circumstances will be offered until Friday 20th May, after this date we will be able to refund any places we can fill with a substitute athlete.
