About This Competition

Welcome to SoCal, home of the newest TYR Wodapalooza, landing in Huntington Beach September 20-22, 2024.

Our Miami celebration isn’t going anywhere, and now, there’s a reason to celebrate coast to coast.

This year we're hosting the first ever, TYR Cup, our only elite division featuring a head-to-head match-up of the very best in North America vs. the best in the World. This division is invite only.

However, as one of the most inclusive events, there plenty of ways to compete. Find below the division for you:

  • Individual
    • Open - 40 men & 40 women
    • Intermediate - 40 men & 40 women
    • Rx - 20 men & 20 women
    • Teen 13-15 - 10 boys & 10 girls
    • Teen 16-18 - 10 boys & 10 girls
  • Teams of 3
    • Open - 20 men & 20 women
    • Intermediate - 60 men & 60 women
    • Rx - 60 men & 60 women
    • Master's Open - 10 men & 10 women
    • Master's Rx - 10 men & 10 women

Division standards for each of the above can be found when clicking the division details on CompCorner.

In our first year, registration for all of the above divisions will be via "Open Registration," meaning, they are first-come first-serve.

We'll be releasing spots on a wave-basis. On the specified dates below, we'll open a limited number of spots per division. It pays to sign-up early, as the price of registration will increase with each wave.

  • Wave 1 - June 6th, 2024
    • Individual - $339 USD
    • Team - $939 USD
  • Wave 2 - June 20th, 2024
    • Individual - $359 USD
    • Team - $969 USD
  • Final Wave - July 8th, 2024 - ONGOING NOW
    • Individual - $379 USD
    • Team - $999 USD

If a division sells out, you'll have an opportunity to sign-up in the next wave, in which more spots will be released.

Registration comes with a full athlete kit, including a TYR jersey & TYR shoes.

All registrations are non-refundable.

Spectator Tickets

Athletes competing at TYR WZA SoCal will have access to the full event to watch all divisions, including the TYR Cup compete.

Additionally all community divisions will receive one (1) general admission 3-day spectator weekend pass, as follows:

One (1) per community individual.
One (1) per community team. 

This weekend pass will grant access to the full event, however, it will not grant access to Athlete Village.


*Teens will receive one (1) Guardian Pass per individual. Due to age, we require teens to have a legal guardian present in Athlete Village. Guardians must be declared at registration and must be 18 years or older. Designated guardians must be on-site to register with their respective athlete and receive their credentials. Credentials are non-transferable.

Inclement Weather

Please be aware that the TYR WZA SoCal is an outdoor sporting event that may be affected by inclement weather conditions. While we are committed to holding the event as planned, the safety of our participants and attendees is our top priority. In the event of severe weather, we may need to make adjustments to workouts or postpone events.
