Elevate Fitness Series 4.0
About This Competition
A multimodal fitness competition comprising of three blocks, Endurance, Strength and Metabolic Conditioning.
Each block is 20 minutes long with 20 minutes rest in between each block.
Test your all round fitness in under 2 hours!
Each team will be given a 90 minute heat wave.
Female teams: 0900-lunchtime
Male teams: mid morning-close

Workouts
In a 20 minute window:
- P1 and P2 run 2 laps of the building (approx 2000m) together
- P3 complete max cal ski until P1 and P2 returns, or until minute 8
- at minute 8 or if P1 and P2 return sooner, P3 runs 2 laps of the building
- whilst P3 is running, P1 and P2 complete max cal air bike
- when P3 returns, all 3 continue to accumulate max cal until minute 20
*the air bike cannot begin until both P1 and P2 are back from the run*
A score will be awarded for the combined run times and a score will be provided for the ski calories and air bike calories added together.
Athletes rest 20 minutes, prior to block 2
Teams have 10 minutes to find their best TWO scores of 3 rep max bench press
Teams then have a further 10 minutes to find their best TWO scores of 8 rep max front squat.
The 4 best lifts will be added together to provide a total score.

Athletes will have 20 minutes to complete:
-250 calorie row, and
-5 rounds of
- 25 SA devils press @17.5kg
- 25 sync hand release push ups (2 athletes)
- 25 crush grip reverse lunge @17.5kg
A score will be provided for the time taken to complete 250 cal row and,
a score will be provided for the time taken to complete the 5 rounds.
Any outstanding reps will be counted as 1 second, eg 5 reps short = 20:05
