About This Competition
NTC TEENS OPEN 2023 (English - Scroll Down)
För andra året i rad bjuder in alla ungdomar födda mellan 2011-2003 på en 2-dagars maxad tävling i härlig boxmiljö!
Under helgen så kommer alla tävlande testas i 4 olika event där topp 6 i varje grupp går till final och utför ett 5e event.
Det kommer finnas 12 platser tillgänliga i varje grupp.
Tävlingen programmeras av Jesper Valrygg och äger rum på NTC Norrköping, Sverige.

**Briefing på plats kommer att ske på lördag morgon direkt efter incheckingen för alla atleter som startar kl 07.00.**
Svårighetsgrad och vikter:
U14
Atleten ska klara av att utföra några i taget av Double Unders, HSPU med kudde, Toes to Bar & Pull Ups - i final kan Hs Walk(2,5m segment) & BMU komma.
Det kommer att vara openvikter (14-15år) på skivstång, hantlar & eventuella andra redskap.
U16
Atleten ska klara av att utföra några i taget av Double Unders, HSPU, Toes to Bar & Pull Ups - i final kan Hs Walk(2,5m segment) & BMU komma.
Det kommer att vara openvikter (14-15år) på hantlar & eventuella andra redskap, men något tyngre på skivstången.
U18
Atleten ska klara av Double Unders, HSPU, Toes to Bar & Chest to bar - i final kan Hs Walk(5m Unbroken) & BMU komma.
Det kommer att vara openvikter (16-17år) på skivstång, hantlar & eventuella andra redskap.
U20
Atleten ska klara av Double Unders, HSPU, Toes to Bar & Chest to bar - i final kan Hs Walk(5m Unbroken) & BMU komma.

For the second year in a row, we invite all teenagers born 2011-2003 for a maxed out 2-day competition in a great box environment.
During the weekend, the athletes will face 4 diffrent events, where top 6 in every group qualifies for a final 5th event.
There will be just 12 spots in every age group category.
The competition is programmed by Jesper Valrygg and will be held at NTC Norrköping, Sweden.

**An on-site briefing will occur at saturday morning right after the athlete check-in, which will start at 07.00**
Skill & Weight information
U14
The athlete should be able to handle Double Unders, HSPU with Abmat, Toes to Bar & Pull Ups - in a final it may show up more difficult exercises such as Hs Walk(2,5m segment) & BMU.
We will use the same weights as the 14-15year old class in The Open with barbells, dumbbells & eventual other equipment.
U16
The athlete should be able to handle Double Unders, HSPU, Toes to Bar & Pull Ups - in a final it may show up more difficult exercises such as Hs Walk(2,5m segment) & BMU.
We will use the same weights as the 14-15year old class in The Open with barbells, dumbbells & eventual other equipment.
U18
The athlete should be able to handle Double Unders, HSPU, Toes to Bar & Pull Ups - in a final it may show up more difficult exercises such as Hs Walk(2,5m segment) & BMU.

Event 4 - Snatch Ladder
Every 2.30 min - until failiure - maximum 10 rounds
1 Snatch anyhow from the Floor
Athletes will take turn lifting in an interval of every 2 minutes 30seconds - with 20s to lift every interval. There will be 20s between one lifter is done and the next one begins to lift and 50s for the judges to change weights each round.
Ones the athlere can't complete the lift in the giving time frame, the athlete is eliminated and will not continue lifting.

- If athletes finish on the same weight, the tiebreak will be their score from Event 3 and will be displayed on the leaderboard with one kilo less than the lift made.
- The athlete has no limit on the amount of attempts during their 20s
- The lift must start before the 20 seconds has ended, but can be finished after the time has ended.
- The lift must be performed in the designated box.

*Girls do 6-4-2
- 5m Handstand Walk must not be unbroken, though the athlete need to walk in 2,5m segments
- 5m Handstand walk over plates must not be unbroken, the 5m will be split in 3 segments (1,6m before plates + 1.6m over plates + 1.6m after plates)
- Each complex on the bars need to be unbroken - meaning the athlete can not drop onto the floor between the chest to bar and the muscle up
