About This Competition
Join Savage Fitness for 2nd Annual HANGAR GAMES, a same-sex partner competition on July 1 and 2.
R/X and Intermediate will be Saturday 8am-4pm approximately
Scaled will be Sunday 8am-4pm approximately
Spectators are FREE

- Intermediate M/M, F/F
- Scaled M/M, F/F
Limited to the first 5 teams to register in each division.
Additional spots may be opened up at a later time. If you cannot register, contact us to be placed on the waitlist.
80% of total division entry fee will be awarded to the 1st place team in each division. There can only be 1 Winner in the Hangar Games!

On 3…2…1…GO Athlete A will have 90 seconds to complete as many cleans as possible. Athlete may choose any weights in any order during their 90 seconds. When 90 seconds is up, Athlete B will will have 90 seconds to complete as many cleans as possible. Athlete may choose any weights in any order during their 90 seconds. Each weight has its own individual amount of point value. Lower weight = Lower Points…Higher Weight = Higher Points
Weight must be lifted off of the ground and in motion when the clock ends to count as a potential successful lift.
Score is total points for total successful lifts.
Tie break will be 1 rep max clean from 1 member of the tying teams. 1 attempt only.

Rope Climbs and Burpees

RC can be split anyway but both partners must compete burpees together synchronized. SYNCHRONIZED DEFINED: Chest must be on the ground at the same time.
Scaled 3 Laying Rope Climbs = 1 RC
On 3…2...1 Go, Athlete A will complete 1 RC. Athlete must clearly touch the black metal at the top of the rope for the rep to count. Once RC is complete, both Athletes will perform 1 Syncho Burpee.
Reps will increase EMOM until the total RC and Burpee reps cannot be completed within the minute.
Score is total RC and Burpee reps completed.

SKILLS TEST
Jump Rope Flight School

***INT may choose between Single or Double Unders. Both Partners must do the same movement. I.e Singles/Singles or DU/DU
On 3…2…1…GO Athlete A will perform a set of 10 unbroken DUs (RX/INT) or 20 unbroken Singles (Scaled/INT). When Athlete A is done, Athlete B will do the same Reps (10 or 20). Once that set is completed successfully by both Athletes, Athlete A will perform 20 unbroken DUs (RX and INT) or 40 unbroken Singles (Scaled). When Athlete A is done, Athlete B will do the same Reps (20 or 40). Athletes will work their way up the unbroken ladder and back down.
If a set is broken, that set must be started over by that Athlete only.
Example: Athlete A completed set 1 (10 DUs) unbroken. Athlete B then breaks on 9/10 DU’s. Athlete B must start back at the beginning of that set until the 10 DUs are completed unbroken then both athletes will move to the next set (20 DUs).
Score is total reps completed.
Tie break will be the highest number of total completed reps by team.

ENDURANCE STRENGTH TEST
Heavy Yoke Relay
200m Yoke +100m Sprint (down/back/down)
Increase weight on return back
On 3…2…1…GO Athlete A will start with weight 1 and carry the yoke as far as possible/desired. Athlete B will remain at the starting line. If/when Athlete A drops the Yoke, Athlete B will sprint to the Yoke and resume the carry only after Athlete A has returned to the starting line. Anytime the yoke is dropped, a switch MUST occur. SWITCH DEFINED: When the Yoke is dropped, the waiting athlete will sprint to the yoke from the starting line (designated waiting area) and tag the athlete at the Yoke. The athlete who dropped the Yoke will then sprint to the starting line (designated waiting area) to wait for their next turn. The athlete currently on the yoke will resume the yoke once the other athlete has made it back to the finish line and the judge gives the OK to resume.
Pair must sprint back together after completion of 200m down/back carry and must cross finish line together. The team is only as fast and strong as the weakest slowest partner so plan accordingly.

On 3…2…1 GO Athlete A will start with the 21 cal Row. Reps/Cals can be partitioned anyway at anytime. Athletes must stay together at each station until the required reps/cals have been completed. Once done, athletes will transition to the next station/movement together. Shuttle runs must be started and finished together. The team is only as strong and fast as the weakest slowest partner so be sure to communicate and stay/work together.
