About This Competition

MASTERS LEAGUE HOME GAMES

 

The Masters League Home Games is an online competition  for everyone who loves fitness and a little bit of friendly competition.

Every workout can be done at home. Stay home, stay safe, stay healthy!

Registration is open until Sunday, April 5th 2020, 11:59 p.m. AEDT

The Home Games will cover 6 body weight home/small space workouts in 4 weeks.

 

Week 1:

WOD 1 will be released on Wednesday, April 1st 2020 at 12:00 p.m. AEST

WOD 2 will be released on Wednesday, April 1st 2020 at 04:00 p.m. AEST

Score submission deadline for all two workouts (WOD 1,2) is Tuesday, April 7th 2020, 10:00 p.m. AEDT

 

Week 2:

WOD 3  will be released on Wednesday, April 8th 2020 at 12:00 p.m. AEST

WOD 4 will be released on Wednesday, April 8th 2020 at 04:00 p.m. AEST

Score submission deadline for all two workouts (WOD 3,4) is Tuesday, April 14th 2020, 10:00 p.m. AEDT

 

Week 3:

WOD 5 will be released on Wednesday, April 15nd 2020 at 12:00 p.m. AEST

WOD 6 will be released on Wednesday, April 15nd 2020 at 04:00 p.m. AEST

Score submission deadline for all two workouts (WOD 5,6) is Tuesday, April 21st 2020, 10:00 p.m. AEDT

 

Week 4:

WOD 7 will be released on Wednesday, April 22nd 2020 at 12:00 p.m. AEST

WOD 8 will be released on Wednesday, April 22nd 2020 at 04:00 p.m. AEST

Score submission deadline for all two workouts (WOD 7,8) is Tuesday, April 28th 2020, 10:00 p.m. AEDT

 

No video or judge requirements. Just be honest to yourself and the community.

Workouts

7 minute Broomstick Facing Burpees

find a mop handle, pvc pipe, empty bar etc. -

Face your broom - Complete a standard burpee using a two-foot kick back, the chest and thighs touch the ground at the bottom, two foot kick in, two foot take off to jump over the broom and two-foot landing. - Repeat for 7 minutes -

Scaling:  Step back  Step in

FOR TIME:

250 x Mountain Climbers

200 x Air Squats

150 x Sit ups

100 x Push ups

* The movements and repetitions can be divided up and performed using any rep scheme or in any order.           Mountain Climbers: - Start of in a standard push up position at the top - Same foot will come up to touch the wrist of the same hand - Swap feet for the next rep - Rinse and repeat Air Squats: - Start at the top - Hip crease below the knees at the bottom - Stand up with the ankles, knees and hips fully locked out at the top before going into the next rep Sit ups: -Basic ab-mat sit up - Shoulders must touch the group at the bottom - Hand must touch the ground in front of your toes at the top Push Ups: - Arms and legs locked out at the top - Bring your body down to the bottom so your chest and thighs touch the ground together - Push back up and lock the arms out - Scale: Perform from your knees or use a box
