About This Competition

ReVamped Fitness is hosting its 9th Vekter Games competition on November 19th, 2022! This event is a one-day team competition open to rxd, scaled and masters athletes. Teams will be comprised of mixed pairs (male/female).

Rx Teams

Rx Teams
Barbell: 
-Should be able to consistently perform snatches, cleans, and OVHS at 135/95# (plus) within a workout

All teams are guaranteed 3 workouts. The top 5 teams in all divisions will complete a final event where anything goes in terms of skill, load and complexity of movements. 

The standards are examples of working weights and minimum movement standards for each division. The top five teams in each division will earn a spot in the final workout and should expect to see some more advanced skill movements.

PRIZES:  The top three teams in each division will receive prizes from our event sponsors. Additionally, the top three teams in the RXd division will earn a cash prize.

1st Place - $1,000

2nd Place - $500

3rd Place - $250

All athletes will receive a shirt and swag bag upon check-in. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate t-shirt size changes after the t-shirt deadline has passed on October 19th. 

EVENT SHIRT:  All athletes will receive an event shirt as long as they register before the order deadline, October 19th, and have selected a size on their registration ticket. 

PARKING:   Athletes and spectators will be directed by our parking attendants to park in the lot in front of ReVamped. Parking volunteers will be on-site to direct you.  Athletes are encouraged to bring tents and chairs to set up near their vehicles. 

SUBSTITUTIONS: Teams can choose to substitute athletes up until the competition begins on November 19th.

Event 1: “JackiEMOM”

Workout Details: 

The workout begins with Partner 1 seated on the rower. At the call of go, Partner 1 will perform max calories in 1 minute. At the 1 minute beep, Partner 2 may begin rowing their max calories for 1 minute. Athletes may switch on and off the rower before the minute has expired, but may not begin rowing until their minute begins. After both partners have rowed twice (4 total minutes), they will move to the Thrusters. 

Athletes will follow the same pattern for the thruster and C2B/Pull-up portion. Your score will be the total combined repetitions completed in the workout. 

Event 3: “Seesaw Chipper”

Rx: 

15 Synchro OVHS (95/65)

12 Synchro T2B

Workout Details: 

At the call of go, athletes will perform 15 Synchro OVHS with the synchronization being at the top of the movement. Then they will move to the T2B where Rx’d performs 12 Synchronized while scaled and masters complete 12 combined reps. Next, Rx’d athletes will perform 9 combined Box Jump Overs while the scaled and masters complete 9 synchronized Box Jump Overs. Athletes will then move to the Sandbags to perform 6 synchronized Sandbag to Shoulder. The synchronization will be at the top of the movement, the rep will be counted once both athletes secure the bag on top of the shoulder. Athletes will then move back up the workout performing box jump overs and T2B. One round will be completed when the second set of T2B is finished. The second round begins with OVHS again.

Event 2: “Vekter Strength Trio” 

Athletes will have a combined 6 minutes to establish their best lift of the following complex: 

1 Snatch + 1 Hang Snatch + 1 OVHS 

 

*score will be combined weight lifted*

 

Workout Details:

At the call of go, athletes will begin with the bars loaded to their preferred opening weights. With one person working at a time, athletes will perform their best lift across the combined 6 minutes. Partner 2 may not begin their attempt until Partner 1 has dropped their bar back to the floor. A power snatch or squat snatch is permitted and the complex must be completed unbroken. The "hang" in the Hang Snatch must be performed above the knee. As long as the last lift is started before the 6 minute cap, a successful lift will be credited after time expires. Score is combined weight lifted.
