About This Competition

Gladsaxe Crossfit er stolt af at kunne præsentere GCF Joint Forces Throwdown – En konkurrence der både inkluderer de klassiske Scaled og Masters 35+ kategorier, men som også introducerer en helt ny begynder kategori samt to helt nye alderskategorier: Masters 45+ og Masters 55+. Konkurrencen vil være for teams af M/M og F/F og vil foregå som følger:

Lørdag:

True Beginners

Masters 45+

Masters 55+

 

Søndag:

Scaled

Masters 35 +

 

Og så lidt om de nye kategorier:

True Beginners - en kategori til dig/jer der er helt nye i CrossFit, men har fået blod på tanden til at konkurrere. Her vil du kun møde old school CrossFit kraftigt skalleret, men høj puls. Hvis du er en af dem der både kan butterfly pullups, toes to bar og muscle-ups, men blot skal pudse dit ego, så hører du ikke til i kategorien True Beginners. True Beginners er lavet fordi vi synes det er en kategori, der mangler i det globale CrossFit miljø, så er du real True Beginner kan vi næsten garantere at du vil høste det største bifald.

Eksempler på øvelser: KB Swings 16/12, Kneeling push-ups, Dødløft, Lette Pushpress, Single Unders, Medball Situps osv.

Masters 45+/55+ - Har du også kigget dig omkring til konkurrencer og tænkt ’jeg kunne jo være deres far eller mor’, så er denne kategori for dig. Øvelserne vil være lig Scaled kategorien, men med tilpassede vægte.

Eksempler på øvelser du kan møde i Scaled og Masters klasserne (Vægt tilpasset)

KB Swings 24/16, DB snatches 22,5/15, Clean & Jerk, Box Jumps, Wall Walks etc.

 

 

Ændring/opdatering af Teams er muligt her på portalen frem til 5. marts 2022 klokken 12, derefter skal der betales et administrationgebyr på 100 kroner for ændring af teams.

- Add 2 reps to each lift per minute (i.e. minute 2: 5 Deadlift, 4 Hang power Cleans, 3 Shoulder to overhead) 

2 x 2 min AMRAP
