About This Competition

The 2019 Fortius Spring Games will be teams of 2 (M,M or F,F) competition. With both team and individual tests - testing every facet of ability - with workouts long enough to get your money's worth!

There will be 3 divisions: Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite. Programming provided by Coach Daimino Stewart and Jesse Malcomb. Designed to ensure each division has clear skill definition to avoid "sandbagging" as much as possible.

There will be 3 events and 1 floater, spread out throughout the day!

THE HIGHLIGHTS
- 1 full day of competition, 4 events
- Free competition shirt
- Over $4,000 worth of vendor prizes for podium winner and swag bags (We had almost 20 sponsors/vendors at our Fall Games)
- Creative events utilizing an extensive range of equipment

Workout 1:
-- 5 Minute AMRAP --
7 Sandbag Squats
90ft Sandbag Carry
7 Sandbag Squats

ELITE = 150/100#
ADV = 100/80#
INT = 80/50# (*10 Squats)

Workout 2:
-- 9-7-5-3 Reps Each for Time, Relay Style --
Cal Assault Bike
Devil Presses (INT = 35/20#, ADV & ELT = 50/35#)
Handstand Pushups
[10 Minute Cap]

HSPU Standards/Heights:
INT F = To 1 Ab Mat + Skullmat
INT M = To Skullmat
ADV F = To Skullmat
ADV M = To Level (Hands on 10# bumpers to Skullmat)
ELT F = 2” deficit
ELT M = 4” deficit

Workout 3:
-- For Time --

200 Double Unders (INT = 100 DU)
30 Clean & Jerks (INT = 115/75#, ADV = 155/105#, ELT = 185/125#)
6 Gymnastics Complexes
200 Double Unders
20 Clean & Jerks (INT = 145/100#, ADV = 185/125#, ADV = 225/155#)
4 Gymnastics Complexes
[15 Minute Cap]

*1 Partner working at a time, broken up however - No Minimum Work Requirement

Gymnastics Complex (does NOT have to be unbroken):
INT = (3/2 T2B + 3/2 Pullups)
ADV = (4/3 T2B + 3/2 Pullups + 2/1 CTB Pullups)
ELT = (4/3 T2B + 3/2 C2B Pullups + 2/1 Bar Muscle Ups)

Floater:
-- 7 Minutes to Complete --
A: 500/400m Row For Time (both partners go at same time)

W/ Remainder of Time

B: Find your 1RM Snatch (any style, from floor)

*2 Scores = Combined Time on the Row and Combined Max weight snatched
