Winter Wodfest 2026

We’re excited to announce CrossFit AP’s Winter Wodfest, a special CrossFit competition to kick off the holiday season with strength and spirit! Mark your calendars for December 12th, and get ready for a fun-filled day with a purpose.

This is a 3-person mixed gender team competition (M/M/F or F/F/M) with Rx and Scaled divisions (standards are below).

Celebrate and Compete: Join us for a shorter but intense competition, where you’ll push your limits and set new personal records.

In Memory of Paul Childress: This event is especially meaningful as we honor the memory of Paul Childress, who we lost on September 22, 2023, just ten months after his colon cancer diagnosis. Paul was not only an extraordinary powerlifter, holding American world records in the squat and overall powerlifting total, but also a phenomenal coach and mentor. He touched the lives of many athletes and friends with his passion, wisdom, and kindness. We remember him fondly and aim to carry forward his legacy of strength and dedication.

Giving Back: A portion of the proceeds from AP’s Winter Wodfest will go to The Childress Scholarship Foundation, supporting future athletes in their journey towards excellence. Your participation helps us make a positive impact in our community and honor Paul’s memory in a meaningful way.

Each athlete will receive a long sleeve shirt ... the cut off is November 15th
