About This Competition
HYBRID A
Ultimate-Fitness-Racing-Challenge
Hybrid-A is mixed pair/same sex fitness race that combines running with functional fitness elements such as rowing, biking, wall-balls, etc.
Our unique twist is the combination of 2 elements between the runs being redundant in nature — doubling up on the same muscle groups for that little bit extra fatigue.
Say hello to Hybrid-A but goodbye to your grip, shoulder, triceps and legs.
2 Divisons
RX and Intermediate
Workout Release
Each workout will be released before comp day, to enable athletes to understand the flow, loading and movement standards for all events.
Registration
Each pair registers under a specific division. Pairs must register their team name and individual names and affiliated/unafilliated. Athletes must check the standards before entering into a division. Pairs may switch divisions if there is space available. Waivers are part of the registration process and all pairs must complete a waiver before competing.
The heat schedule will be posted on February 12th, the cost per pair is $90*. This is non-refundable but can be transfered to a new pair up to 48 hours prior to the competition.

Workouts
Hybrid-A FLOW (SAME SEX/MIXED PAIRS)
‼️FLOW‼️ On the call 3, 2, 1… Go.
Pairs will start on the 800m run. Once completed, they will perform section 1 in order of 1,000m ski & 80m burpee broad jump.
Pairs will then head back out on an 800m run and then perform section 2 in order of 50 calorie echo bike and 50 dumbbell step-ups.
Pairs will then head back out on their 3rd 800m run and then complete section 3 in order of 1,000m run and 200m farmers carry.
Once completed, pairs will perform their 4th and final run before moving onto section 4 and completing in order 50-calorie echo bike and 50 wall balls.
All runs must be performed together.
ovements cannot be started until both athletes are back from the run.
All movements can be shared however (but in order).
