Bricktown Throwdown 2021!
Bricktown Throwdown is a two day TEAM trio competition July 10& 11th. Competitors will be throwing down in the heart of Bricktown at Scissortail Park.
[ Divisions: Pro, Amateur, Scaled, Generations ]
All divisions consist of teams of 3, same sex. *Generations teams will have one teammate from each “generation”. (30’s 40’s & 50’s).

Workouts
1500m Row
This will be a 1500m team row. Athletes will start off the rower and on the sound of “GO” they will hop on and start rowing. Each athlete will have their own rower and teams boat will be synced up to average the pace between all the athletes.
Scoring: This Event is 1 score.
Athlete 1: Snatch
Athlete 2: Thruster
Athlete 3: Clean & Jerk
Each athlete will be given 3:00 to complete 1RM in their respective lift. Teams will be given a chance to pre-load their bars. The team is allowed to help change weights but only the working athlete is allowed on the platform during attempts. Clips must be used and the athlete is not allowed to step off the platform during their lift.
Scoring: This Event is 3 separate scores.

Part A - On the sound of “GO”, the 1st athlete will run out and complete their DUs. The 2nd athlete is not allowed onto the competition mat until the 1st athlete is off. Once all DUs have been completed the time for part A will stop once ALL THREE athletes have crossed the finish line.
PRO: 3x100 DUs, each athlete will complete them as four, separate, 25 rep sections.
AMATEUR & GENERATIONS: 300 DUs split up as a team
SCALED: 200 DUs split up as a team
Part B:
Immediately after finishing part A, one athlete will run onto the competition mat and begin completing front squats. Athletes may switch off as they like but they MUST run back to the finish line and tag the next partner in. Once all 25 reps of front squats have been completed the bar will be moved to the “bar facing burpee” station. Once those reps are completed the bar will be moved to the “hang to OH” station. Once those reps are completed the athlete will move to the HSPU station. After 50 reps of HSPUs have been completed the athlete will move the bar back down the mat completing the 25 reps of hang to OH, bar facing burpees, and front squats in reverse order. The time will stop once the final athlete has crossed the finish line.

Scoring: This event will be 2 scores, Part A and Total (A&B)

Only 1 athlete is allowed on the mat at a time during the rope climbs and athletes must show control until they get below the 9’ mark in order for the rep to count (no dropping from the top). One athlete must be sitting on the sled during the sled push and they are not allowed to assist while they are the sitting athlete. The sitting athlete can alternate however the team chooses between rounds (on part A) but once the team has started pushing, that athlete must stay on the sled until the 15m section is complete.
For Part B, the same athlete must stay on the sled for the entire 45m push.

There will be extra weight added to the sleds for all divisions.

Each athlete will run 600m carrying a 50/35# sandbag.

Max Effort Muscle-Ups (Ring-Bar) in 3:00 —————————————————————
Part A - At the sound of “GO” athlete 1 will get on the Assault Bike and start their calories. Once completed they will HS walk down the floor to the rig where they do 20 Toes to bar. After that they HS walk back to tag their next partner. Partner 2 completes the workout in the same fashion and tags partner 3 in. Once partner 3 has completed their 2nd HS walk and crossed the finish line, their time will stop.
PRO: The entire 40’ handstand walk section must be completed unbroken. --
AMATEUR: HS Walk must be completed in 5’ sections and hands must start in front of the line on the kick up and finish beyond the line for a section to be completed. —
GENERATIONS: Athlete 1 will complete the 40’ sections lunging with a 50/35# DB in the front rack. Athlete 2 will complete the 40’ section lunging with the DB overhead. Athlete 3 will complete the 40’ sections doing a handstand walk (Amateur standards). —
SCALED: TOES THROUGH RINGS and the 40’ section will be completed by lunging with the 50/35# DB overhead.
Part B- On the sound of “GO” two athletes from the team will start synchronized muscle-up reps. Athlete must be locked out at the top together for the rep to count. The team may switch which athlete is on the rings, bar, or resting however they see fit. If an athlete cannot jump to reach the bar/rings the resting partner my help but they ARE NOT allowed to assist with the muscle-up.
SCALED: Synchronized Burpee Pullups. Same standard, but both partners must have their chins over the bar/rings at the same time for the rep to count.
Scoring: This event will be 2 scores. Time for Part A and reps for Part B
