About This Competition

Qualifiers for The Malta Military Games.

Organised by Armed Forces of Malta, in aid of Puttinu Cares.

Supported by CrossFit F15, CrossFit 356, CrossFit ShieldWall, The Pit, CrossFit Tripod, CrossFit Martell, Training Room & The WorkShop.

Competition Format: 3 Day Competition - 6 Workouts

Team Format: 2 Males + 1 Female

Dates: 19,20,21 January 2024

Location: Lyster Barracks - Hal Far - Malta

All proceeds go to Puttinu Cares.

Puttinu Cares, is a children’s cancer support group which was set up in October 2002 and began from an idea and desire to offer a holistic approach of care for families with children suffering from cancer. Puttinu Cares employs the principle of solidarity. The charity relies and are grateful on sponsors and generous donations from the public. (puttinucares.org)

From 00:00 to 03:00': Part A
Establish a 1 RM Snatch

From 03:00' to 04:00': rest

From 04:00 until failure': Part B

From 04:00 until failure': Part B - Death by
Every miunute on the minute until failure
Min 1: 6 Thrusters + 3 Pull ups
Min 2: 6 Thrusters + 6 Pull ups
Min 1: 6 Thrusters + 9 Pull ups


*Increase by 3 pull ups every minute until you are not able to complete the repetitions prescribed for the minute given.
 
Thrusters: Male 40kg Female 30kg

From 04:00 until failure': Part B - Death by
Every minute on the minute until failure
Min 1: 6 Thrusters + 2 Pull ups
Min 2: 6 Thrusters + 4 Pull ups
Min 3: 6 Thrusters + 6 Pull ups


*Increase by 2 pull up every minute until you are not able to complete the repetitions prescribed for the minute given.
