About This Competition

Get ready for the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and teamwork! On October 19th, we're hosting an a community CrossFit competition for teams of two. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or want to try competing for the first time, this event is designed to push your limits and bring out your competitive spirit.

Expect high-energy workouts that challenge your agility, power, and stamina across multiple stages. With synchronized movements, partner lifts, and head-to-head battles, every rep will bring you closer to victory. Rally your partner, strategize, and show everyone what true teamwork looks like!

Workouts

Lift the weight of the dead, leap over obstacles, and pull yourself from the grave on the bar, you'll feel the monsters closing in with every rep. Can you survive the mash, or will the monsters crush you under the bar?

Athletes will move through this workout in a you-go-i-go format. One athlete working at a time. There is no minimum work requirement.

Athletes will change their own weights.

Scaled divisions may perform box jump overs.

Both feet must touch the top of the box during box jump overs and box step overs. Step down or jump down from the box is allowed.

Both divisions have the option to scale the muscle up (Rx) to 2x the volume with chest to bar and pull ups (scaled) to 2x the volume with jumping pull ups.

There is no mix and matching.

If a team decides to scale, both athletes must perform the same movement.

If teams decide to scale, their score will be placed lower than teams who performed the workout as prescribed.

A spine-chilling combo of double-unders with a beaded rope, toes-to-bar, and max overhead squats! Can you hold steady under the weight or will the ghosts of missed reps haunt you?

2, 2, 2, 3 AMRAP

Buy In:

30 Double Unders with Beaded Rope

15 Toes to Bar

In remaining time:

MAX REPS OVERHEAD SQUATS (115/80)

1 min of rest between each round

 

Scaled Version:

2, 2, 2, 3 AMRAP

Buy In:

60 Single Skips with Beaded Rope

15 Hanging Leg Raises

In remaining time:

MAX REPS FRONT SQUATS (115/80)

1 min of rest between each round

 

Athletes may break up the reps of the buy in, one working at a time and no minimum work requirement.

Once 30 DU's and then 15 TTB are completed, athletes will perform max reps of overhead squats using one bar in the ramining 2:00 minute time frame.

In the 4th round, the working time will increase to 3:00 minutes.

Athletes do not need to switch which movement they start with at the beginning of each round.

Leg lifts are performed like toes to bar, but the feet only need to come up to the hips.

One athlete works while the other rests and may break up reps as they would like, There is no minimum work requirement for these movements besides the synchronized dumbbell snatches.

The top of the lockout will be the count of the synchronization.

Scaled division is not synchronized.

Both heads of the dumbbell must touch the ground.

First round, athletes will perform 12 wall walks using open standards. Scaled teams will use open scaled standards for wall walks.

Second time through, athletes will perform 18 handstand push ups. The head (ears) must be in line with the arms and hips fully open.

Final round, athletes will perform 24 overhead alternating step back lunges using 1 dumbbell.
