Are you ready to #earnit?

German Throwdown Classic is the elite fitness competition in Germany. In its sixth year, it will be yet again a true test of fitness. The athletes are required to perform tasks ranging from gymnastics to weightlifting, from endurance to highly coordinative movements.

It is open to any athlete worldwide that is looking for a good challenge and only requires a minimum of equipment. The German Throwdown Classic is a two-stage competition starting with the online qualification phase in July 2019. The top athletes will then qualify for the final in Mainz on November 8th - 10th this year.

Divisions:

In which division do you want to compete?

The German Throwdown Classic as Elite Fitness Competition has the main focus on the best athletes. At the same time the community is an important factor of our sport and that is why there will be an Intermediate and Scaled Category.

For Master athletes, there will be three different age divisions. The younger one starts at 35 and ends at 39. Followed by the Master 40 ranging from 40 to 44. The oldest one begins at 45.

There will be a Teen category for the third time at the German Throwdown Classic. We are very excited to see, what the next generation of fitness will show at the Final.

Teams will consist of 4 athlete. Two females and two male athletes will form a team. Substituting injured team mates is allowed.

New for this year is a Intermediate Team division. 10 teams will get the chance to present their skills on an intermediate level.

Please make sure to pay attention to the differences of the divisions. You will find all the details in the rulebook.

Scaled (Open Age, Master35, Master45+):

FINAL

Date: November 08 - 10, 2019

Location: Halle 45, Hauptstraße 17, 55120 Mainz, Germany

The following numbers of athletes (including Wildcards) will be invited to the finals after qualification: 


  • 40 Elite Male and 30 Elite Female

  • 10 Master 35 Male and 10 Master 35 Female
  • 10 Master 40 Male and 5 Master 40 Female 

  • 10 Master 45 Male and 5 Master 45  Female
  • 10 Teen Male and 10 Teen Female
  • 10 Intermediate and 10 Intermediate Female
  • 20 Elite Team
  • 10 Intermediate Team

The organizer will give some wildcards to some athletes. Getting a Wildcard means that the athlete doesn't have to go through the qualification, they will get an invitation to the finals without qualifying.

The fee to enter the final will be 89.90€ for Elite, 79.90€ for Master & Master+ and 239.90€ for the Elite teams. The Teen and Intermediate athletes will have a fee of 59.90€ and the Intermediate teams a fee of 179.90€.

All prices include VAT. Please note that Competition Corner will add a processing fee.

The prize pool will be worth more than 15,000€. A substantial amount will be cash. The exact cash amount will be determined by number of registered athletes.

Athletes will also receive, a goodie bag, the official GTD athlete t-shirt and a board with your name.

German Throwdown Classic ist die deutsche Meisterschaft für die Fitness Elite. In seiner sechsten Auflage wird er auch dieses Mal den Athleten Fitness in Bereichen von Turnen bis Gewichtheben und von Ausdauersportarten bis zu hoch koordinativen Bewegungen abverlangen.

Du suchst die besondere Herausforderung? Dann bist Du beim German Throwdown Classic genau richtig. Diese Meisterschaft ist offen für alle Athleten weltweit und beginnt mit einer Qualifikationsphase im Juli 2019. Anschließend werden die besten Athleten zum Finale vom 8. bis 10. November dieses Jahres nach Mainz eingeladen.

In welcher Kategorie möchtest Du antreten?

Der German Throwdown Classic als Elite Fitness Competition hat den eindeutigen Fokus auf den besten Athleten. Zur gleichen Zeit ist die Community ein elementarer Bestandteil und deshalb wird es auch eine Intermediate und eine Scaled Kategorie geben.

Für Masters Athleten gibt es dieses Jahr drei verschiedene Altersklassen. Die Jüngere geht von 35 bis 39 Jahren. Dieses Jahr bieten wir zum ersten Mal eine Masters 40 Kategorie. Diese geht von 40 bis 44 Jahren. Die älteste beginnt bei 45 Jahren.

Auch dieses Jahr wird es eine Teen Kategorie beim German Throwdown Classic geben. Wir sind wieder gespannt, was unsere Nachwuchssportler im November auf die Beine stellen werden.

Die Teams werden 4 Athleten beinhalten. Zwei weibliche und zwei männliche Athleten bilden ein Team. Verletzungsbedingte Auswechslungen sind erlaubt.

Neu in diesem Jahr ist eine Intermediate Team Division. 10 Teams bekommen die Chance ihre Skills auf dem Intermediate Niveau zu präsentieren.

Bitte achtet auf die Unterschiede der einzelnen Kategorien. Alle weiteren detaillierten Informationen finden sich im Rulebook.

Der Veranstalter wird sogenannte Wildcards an einige Athleten verteilen. Empfänger einer Wildcard dürfen am Finale teilnehmen, ohne dass sie die Qualifikation durchlaufen müssen.

Die Kosten für das Finale betragen 89,90€ für Elite, 79,90€ für Master & Master+ und 239,90€ für die Elite Teams. Die Teens und Intermediate Athleten zahlen 59,90€ und die Intermediate teams zahlen 179,90€ (Alle Preise inkl. MwSt. Bitte beachte, dass Competition Corner noch eine Gebühr erheben wird.)

Zu gewinnen sind Preise im Wert von über 15.000€, wovon ein substantieller Teil Cash sein wird. Der genaue Cash Betrag richtet sich nach der Anzahl der Anmeldungen.

Darüber hinaus erhalten alle Athleten ein Goodie Bag, das offizielle exklusive GTD Athlete T-Shirt, sowie ein großes Namensschild.
