About This Competition
After three long years Summer Slam is back and better than ever! With time comes change and we have revamped the classic Summer Slam competition. Not only have we adjusted the team structure but we are creating a vendor village where you can shop, eat and drink while competing and cheering on your favorite athletes! Giving you... Summer Slam FitFest!
EVENT DETAILS:
Teams of four athletes (2 male/2 female).
This competition is for intermediate to competitive CrossFit athletes.
$340 per team entry fee (includes fees).
3 WODs + 2 Floater WODs + Championship.
Prizes $$$ for the top three teams.
All participants that sign up prior to 6/26/22 will receive a commemorative t-shirt!
WODS will be released in the week prior to the event.
STANDARDS:
Everyone on your team needs to be able to:
Move your body: run, row, bike, box jump, climb a rope, push or pull a sled, carry heavy stuff, climb over or under walls
Move some weight: deadlift max (315+/223+), clean & jerk max (205+/133+), snatch max (155+/93+)
Perform standard CrossFit Open movements as rx'd: toes to bar, CTB pull-ups, burpees, lunges, wall balls, overhead squat, squat variations, thrusters, KB swings, HSPU, double unders, etc.
*Some athletes on your team should be able to perform advanced gymnastics movements: pistols, bar/ring muscle ups, deficit HSPU, HS walks etc. Some of these athletes will not be required to perform them. The more you have, the better off your team will be!
Note: No refunds will be provided for this event. However, your registration can be transferred to another team.

Description: teams will break into the male/male and female/female pairs. One pair will start on the sled pushes and the other pair will start on one of the two couplets. At Go, both pairs will begin their work. When the sled push pair is complete, they will move to the other couplet not being worked on. Once both teams are done their respective couplets, the pair who didn't do the sled push will finish the workout with their sled push.
