European Showdown 2019 | Online Qualifiers
About This Competition
THE EVENT
The EUROPEAN SHOWDOWN (ESD) is an international fitness event that aims to promote the practice of sports through competition by testing the best athletes in each category. The event will take place in Barcelona on September 20th, 21st and 22nd 2019.

6.2 EVENT ENTRY
Entrance at the European Showdown and Arnold Classic Europe 2019 could be purchased at https://arnoldclassiceurope.es/en/tickets/. The athletes' entourage can access an exclusive area along with several brands linked to fitness.
All athletes qualified athletes will receive 2 passes for Arnold Classic Europe.
CATEGORIES
A. How does the competition work?
A1. Required online qualifier:
Individual Elite and RX (1-30 = Elite Athletes; 31-60 = RX Athletes)
Individual: Master +35 Male and Female;
Individual: Master +40 Male and Female;
Individual: Scaled Male and Female;
Team: Elite Mixed (2M,1W) and Male (3M).
A2. Without online qualifier, direct registration for the final:
Team RX Mixed (2M,1W) and Male (3M);
Team Intermediate Mixed (2M,1W), Male (3M) and Female (3W).
ATHLETES ON THE FINALS
The event will have the following number of athletes (Wild Cards included):
Individual:
30 Elite Athletes Female and 30 Elite Athletes Male (after online qualifier);
30 RX Athletes Female and 30 RX Athletes Male (after online qualifier);
15 Master +35 Athletes Female and 15 Master +35 Athletes Male (after online qualifier);
15 Master +40 Athletes Female and 15 Master +40 Athletes Male (after online qualifier);
30 Scaled Athletes Female and 30 Scaled Athletes Male (after online qualifier).
We considered all athletes born until 1979 master +40 and all athletes born until 1984 master +35.
Team:
15 Elite Mixed Teams and 15 Elite Male Teams (after online qualifier);
15 RX Mixed Teams and 15 RX Male Teams (without online qualifier, directly to the final);
30 Intermediate Mixed Teams and 30 Intermediate Male Teams (without online qualifier, directly to the final).
The organizer will provide wildcards to some athletes. Getting a Wildcard means that the athlete doesn't have to go through the qualification they will get an invitation to the finals without qualifying.
Mandatory documents for all qualified athletes: ID Card, Term of Responsibility and Medical Waiver. If any of the qualified athletes doesn’t have one of this documents, European Showdown reserves the right to forbid the athlete from the competition.
REGISTRATION
ONLINE QUALIFIER REGISTRATION (only for those who depend on the online qualification to go the final):
From April 14th to July 14th;
Workout 1 + 2: June 30th Launch;
Workouts Submission 1 + 2: until July 14th at 23:59 (London and UK Time (GMT+1)).
Results submitted after July 14th 2019 will not be accepted.
Teams’ athletes will make the online qualifier individually. Team’s final score will be the sum of the results of each athlete.
Finals registration (no online qualifier)*:
From April 14th to August 31st 2019.
*Registrations up to the date above or as long as there are spots available.

Please note that Competition Corner will add a processing fee.
The athletes who will compete at the Final have to do a new registration (50€ for Individuals and 150€ for Teams), which includes a Sponsor Pack (in the same value).

You can start with the bar fully loaded and you are only allowed to do only one attempt within the minute.
Then after the first minute, for event 2.2, you will have 4’ to perform as many repetitions as possible of the following Complex:
1 Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Shoulder To Overhead
Remember one Complex is one repetition.

For event 2.1, you will have 1’ to establish a max for the following Complex:
