About This Competition
Date: Saturday, July 13, 2019
Time: 8am – 4pm
Location: Lucan Community Centre
263 Main St. Lucan, ON N0M 2J0
Format: Teams of 3 (Must be min. 1 of each gender)
Divisions: 2 (Elite, Recreational)
Number of WOD's: Min 4 (all competitors!)
Entry Fee: $280 per team
EarlyBird Discount: $250 per team if registred before May 1st.
Prizes: Over $1000 in cash and prizes!
Registration Deadline: Saturday June 22, 2019
Teammates Can be substituted up to July 8th, 2019.
*Registration cancellations will not be processed after Saturday, June 22, 2019. Prices do not include tax.
How it works:
Teams of 3 (must have at least one Male or Female in each team) will compete in a minimum of 4 WOD's in either the Elite or Recreational divisions to determine the overall fittest BaconFit Challenge Team! This event is open to individuals of all ability levels and will have over $1000 in cash and prizes!
Divisions/Standards:
Elite
If you are able to do most workouts at your local affiliate RX’d you are Elite. If you can do 3 or more of the following movements: Double Unders, Pull Ups, HSPU, Muscle-ups, or typical RX weights at Olympic or Power Lifts, you are Elite.
Recreational
Beginners and Intermediates will make up the majority of this category. A good opportunity to challenge yourself, experience the rush of competition while at a lower weight and skill level than the Elite Division. Note, there are no cash prizes for the Recreational Division.

Workouts
20/10/5 Reps
Snatches & Muscle Ups
Athletes will complete 20 Snatches as a team at 135 for males and 95 for females then complete 20 muscle-ups.
Time:
Athletes will then add weight to their own bars to complete 10 snatches at 155/105 then complete 10 muscle ups.
Time:
On the third and final round, the athletes' task will be to hit 5 snatches at 185/125 before completing 5 muscle ups
There is a 12-minute time cap* One athlete works at a time, the reps may be divided however the team chooses. Rec athletes will perform Pull-ups instead of Muscle-ups and the barbells will be loaded with 95/55, 115/75 & 135/95 respectively
Tie Breaker is the time each round is completed.

Deadlifts (225/155) (REC: 185/135)
Pull-ups (Rec: Ring Rows)
One team member working at a time, teams will complete as many rounds and reps as possible of deadlift and pull-ups in 10 minutes. In the first round of the workout, teams perform 6 deadlifts, followed by 6 pull-ups. The required reps for both movements increase by 6 in each subsequent round.
850M Sandbag Run as a team
(Two sandbags/Team of 3 Rx: 50/30lbs, Rec: 30:20lbs)
During the Run any athlete may carry either bag and you made trade bags with your teammate at any point.
Once all members have finished the run complete the following:
120 Sandbag squats
60 Sandbags over shoulder
