About This Competition
Hey CFC Crew,
Welcome back!!! Please join us for our return to in-house competition, the CFC Throwdown 24. Please see below for all the details:
- This event is only open to CFC members.
- Format = Same-Sex teams of two
- Divisions = Rx'd and Scaled
- Maximum teams = 23
- Perks = T-shirts for all participants, 4 gauranteed workouts, plus a 5th for the top teams in each division.
- Cost = 50.00/person + fundraising pledges (minimum of 50.00/person)
- Charitable cause = 100% of pledges will be dontated to Epilepsy Association of Calgary
- Spectator entry = Donation to Ronald McDonald House (minimum $5.00)
- Additional Perks = Prizes for all podium teams and the top fundrasier!
Athletes create a pledge page and start collecting donations! Pages can be created at Athlete Pledge Page .Once created you can print your page and post it to the gym pldge wall (PR Board)

Partner B: Awaits behind the Athletes line.

Partner A: Gets off the bike and goes behind the line.
Partner B: Begins their wall walks...
For time, athletes will work through a deck of cards performing reps and movements as they appear.

In 10 Minutes atheltes accumulate as many points as possible by completing couplets of variying complexities.
Option 1: 20 Single Unders, 5 Kipping Pull-Ups
Points: 1 Round = 1pts
Option 2: 20 Double Unders, 5 Kipping Chest-to-bar
Points: 1 Round = 3pts
Option 3: 20 Single CrossOvers, 5 Bar Muscle Ups
Points: 1 Round = 5pts
Option 4: 20 Double CrossOvers, 5 Pull-Overs
Points: 1 Round = 8pts
Option 5: 20 TripleUnders, 5 Gymnasty Complexes (Pull-up, C2B, BMU)*
Points: 1 Round = 13pts
*athele must remain on the bar for the entirety of complex to count as 1 Rep
Athlete must complete the entire couplet to be counted as a round.
Athlete A and B do not need to choose the same couplet.
Athlete B rest, while Athlete A works and vice versa.
