Workouts
At the sound of GO, you will pick up the Farmers Handles and carry them the 15m distance. Once the front of the Farmers Handles have passed the finish line, you may drop them turn and run back for the Sandbag. Pick up the Sandbag in a BEARHUG position and carry the bag the 15m. Once the bag is passed the finsh line you can drop it and your time will be recorded.
You may drop the Farmers Handles and Sandbag as many times as you need to complete the distance. There is NO SLIDING with the Farmers Handles, and if you should slide them you will recieve a 5 second penalty on top of your score.
You will have 60 seconds to complete the medley.
NO STRAPS ALLOWED: You can not strap yourself into the Farmers Handles.
Deadlift will be an Ascending Load.
Females bar will increase by 5kgs
Males Bar will increase by 10kgs
When you register in the morning you will give a start weight for this event. Once you lift your first deadlift you will continue to lift for a total of 5 consecutive increases or until you can nolonger lift the bar.
You will have 60 seconds to complete your rep and only 2 attemps within the 60 seconds to get the bar up.
You can wear 9's lifting Straps (not 8's) for this event.
Think wisely about that start weight - let the games begin
At the sound of GO, you will lift the LOG from the ground to a locked out Overhead position. The Judge will give you a down signal, which then you will control the LOG back down before making your way to the FAT BAR. You will then lift the FAT BAR from the ground to a locked out overhead position and once again wait for the down signal from the Judge.
You will continue to move between the LOG and the FAT BAR, completing as many reps as possible until the 60 seconds is up or you can no longer lift the implements.
Score is MAX total reps
At the Sound of GO, you will lift the stone up and over the Yoke for as many reps as possble within the 60 seconds. The stone will be rolled back to you keeping you on the same side of the Yoke at all times.
YOKE HEIGHTS
Females: 1.2m
Males: 1.3m
You may wear Tacky for this event, but please remember not to touch anything else while you have this on and bring oil to remove the tacky once completed. we will be at the Ricoh Center so clean the Tacky off your arms and hands outside before rinsing in the bathrooms.
The Yoke will start behind the Start line
At the Sound of GO, you will pick up the Yoke and Carry it for 15m. The clock will stop once the front of the Yoke has crossed the finish line.
You can drop the Yoke as many time as you like, but you are not allowed to slide the Yoke across the floor. Any sliding will accur a 5 second penalty to your time.
You will have 60 seonds on the clock to complete the full 15 meters.
