About This Competition

CrossFit 920's Rumble on the Bay presented by Pella Windows and Doors of Wisconsin will be a 1 day, all outdoor, male/female team competition held once at Capital Credit Union Park!

Prizes for all top finishing teams will be based on the number of registered teams.

Register by September 1 to guarentee event t-shirt

Divisions:

RX: Both team members are proficient in all RX Crossfit movement standards

Intermediate: Both team members have competed in a Crossfit competition before or are proficient in the basic movements of Crossfit

Beginners: First Crossfit competition or less than 2 years of Crossfit experience for both team members

Masters Scaled(36+): Both partners must be at least 36 years old

Masters RX (36+):Both partners must be at least 36 years old

*Box Jumps or Steps Ups are allowed in ALL divisions

Standards:

Row calories can be split however the team desires

Wall Balls will be thrown over a beam back and forth for 40 total reps. If a teammate hits the beam the team must complete 1 burpee each before continuing. Not reaching depth in the squat will be counted as a no rep but will not result in a penalty burpee.

DB Snatches will be synchro at the top of the rep.

Relay Box Jump Overs will have teammate 1 jump or step over the box and step or jump down with both feet on the opposite side before teammate 2 completes their box jump or step up to the box. Both feet must make contact with the box at the top and teammates cannot be on the box at the same time. Judges will clearly indicate when teammate 2 can complete the relay.

TEAM

Sled Drag Down Field

 

Teams will load sled between female and male and then before the team sled drag. Before the team sled drag the team must unhook the rop and attach the drag rope. The sled must cross the line for time to stop on the drag. On the pull the sled head must touch the given line and when pushing the sled must come completely behind the given line.

One partner works at a time during barbell movements. Once the bar leaves the ground for the 50 hang power cleans/shoulder to overhead neither bar can touch the ground until all 50 repetitions are complete. Athletes CAN put the bar down once 50 hang cleans/shoulder to overhead are complete.


Bars may be rested in the hang position or the front rack position, but cannot be rested on the back or bent over in the hip crease. If either bar touches the ground the partners will have a 3 synchro burpee penalty.
