We will again be allowing "virtual" participation for this edition of the TSC. If you would prefer to participate virtually, you may do so by registering at the "Virtual Participation Only" facility. More information regarding virtual participation will be emailed to you approximately 10-14 days prior to the event.

The Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC) is a semiannual strength competition consisting of three events: (1) a three-attempt powerlifting deadlift, (2) pullups/flexed arm hang for max reps/time, and (3) kettlebell snatches for max reps in a 5:00 time period.
These three events test a unique trade-off between various abilities with the deadlift favoring larger participants, pullups/flexed-arm hang favoring smaller participants, and kettlebell snatches testing all participants equally. See the TSC Rules for more details on these movements and judging standards.
You must complete the event on October 31, 2020 at one of our pre-approved TSC host facility locations.
For active duty military, we are allowing a video submission option. Only active duty military will have the option to complete these events and submit YouTube videos. If you are active duty and you know in advance that you will be submitting videos, please register at the "Active Duty Military" location. More information will be emailed to you prior to the event regarding participation and video submission.
Event Details By Division
Women's divisions:
- Women's Novice - A max deadlift, flexed arm hang, and snatches with a 12kg kettlebell
- Women's Novice (16kg KB) - A max deadlift, flexed arm hang, and snatches with a 16kg kettlebell
- Women's Classic - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 16kg kettlebell
- Women's Classic (12kg KB) - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 12kg kettlebell
- Women's Competition - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a kettlebell - weight dependent on bodyweight. Must report! (See chart below)
- Women's Masters (ages 50 and older) - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 12kg kettlebell
Men's divisions:
- Men's Novice - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 20kg kettlebell
- Men's Classic - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 24kg kettlebell
- Men's Competition - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a kettlebell - weight dependent on bodyweight. Must report! (See chart below)
- Men's Masters (ages 50 and older) - A max deadlift, bodyweight pullups, and snatches with a 20kg kettlebell
Snatch weight chart for Men's and Women's competition Divisions
Women:
- < 132 lbs / 60 kg: snatch 16 kg
- >= 132 lbs / 60 kg: snatch 20 kg
Men:
- < 143 lbs / 65 kg: snatch 24 kg
- 143 - 187 lbs / 65 - 85 kg: snatch 28 kg
- >= 187 lbs / 85 kg: snatch 32 kg
Event timeline
- Saturday, October 31: TSC held worldwide.
- Saturday, October 31—Tuesday, November 3: Judges & hosts will enter & verify their respective location's participants' scores.
- Wednesday, November 4—Thursday, November 5: TSC administrators will review videos and scores.
- Friday, November 6: Results become final.

Cost
The cost to participate in any division other than the Competition division is $30 (USD). The cost to participate in the men's or women's Competition division is $50.
All participants who register by the date of the event will receive an event t-shirt 4-6 weeks after the event.
prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) place finishers in the women's and men's Competitive division. All competitors scores in the Competitive division must be accompanied by videos of each event.

2nd—All-Terrain Conditioning seminar
3rd—Complete set of StrongFirst Fundamentals Video Courses (bodyweight + barbell + kettlebell)
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be granted. Exceptional circumstances will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis by StrongFirst, Inc.
