Workouts

WEEK 1, WORKOUT 1

Death By calories

Set PM to 1 minute intervals, repeating, with 0 rest time between intervals

Workout: match calories to interval number

i.e. Interval 1, burn 1 calorie

Interval 2, burn 2 calories

Interval 3, burn 3 calories

...

Score: last successfully completed round that you were able to match calories to interval number.

i.e. If you were able to successfully burn 20 calories in round 20, but only burned 19 calories in round 21, then your score for this workout would be 20.

Rounds 1 through 10 will be very easy, but after round 10, this workout picks up fast!

PM Advice

Set PM to New Workout > Intervals > Time > 1 minute intervals with 0 rest > start workout. Then set Units to Calories to see how many calories you burn on each interval.

WEEK 2, WORKOUT 2

600 M Time Trial

Workout: 600m

Score: Time to complete

Note: Workouts 2 and 3 do not need to be completed in a single session. You can spread them across multiple days. You DO need to complete both workouts by the end of the week.

6,000 M Time Trial

Workout: 6,000m

Week 3 Workout 4B:

PACE THYSELF

Workout: 4 rounds of

1 minute row for distance

4 minute row for distance

no rest in between rounds

ie. 1 minute, 4 minutes, 1 minute, 4 minutes, 1 minute, 4 minutes, 1 minute, 4 minutes,

Athletes must use New Workout>Intervals>Variable to program this workout.

Score 4B: Total distance traveled in the entire workout (total meters in the 20 minutes)

Week 3 Workout 4A:
