MOVEMBER THROWDOWN

Saturday 9th Nov 2024 @ Crossfit505 Burpengary

 

Calling all Mo-Bro's and Mo-Sister's to our Ultimate TRIO's Crossfit Event! We are partnering with Movember and associated charities to raise funds for Men's Health Awareness.

Format:

MMM and FFF Trio's Competition

Rx'd, Intermediate and Scaled Divisions (movement standards to be released prior to event)

Registration: $210 per trio (+ processing fee) closes on 3rd November.

Workouts/schedule:

4 x workouts - to be released closer to competition date.

Prizes:

Overall Rx'd, Intermediate and Scaled Pairs 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive awesome prize packs!

Policies:

REFUNDS -  Cancellations of registration will not be refunded - substitutions of team members or divisions are advised.

SUBSTITUTES - Team member/division changes can be made until 3rd November on a case-by-case basis, however there will be no refunds for cancellations.

WAIVER - All athletes must complete the Movember Throwdown waiver prior to competing. Please have all team members complete this prior to attending and competing. 

FAQ's:

What should I bring?

Additional to all of your regular gear that you would need to compete with (eg: skipping rope, wrist wraps, towel, food etc), you are welcome to bring chairs and gazebo's. These can be set up in the sectioned off area of our car park (see site map).

Will there be food/drinks at the event?

Yes! Stay tuned on our Socials for updates on our Vendors. Any additional food/beverage requirements are your own responsibility. 

Where do I park?

See the site map for the best places to park for the event. There will be no parking available in the gym complex, but there is plenty of parking at the local Supermarket across the road. Parking in any other designated areas outside of our recommendations will run the risk of being towed.

60 sync front squats (1 athlete barbell, 1 athlete 2 x DB’s, 1 athlete rest - switch however you wish)

50cal row (shared)

50 sync cleans (1 athlete barbell, 1 athlete 2 x DB’s, 1 athlete rest - switch however you wish)

40cal row

40 sync Stoh (1 athlete barbell, 1 athlete 2 x DB’s, 1 athlete rest - switch however you wish)

30cal row

30 sync burpees over bar/DBs (all 3 athletes)

 

SCALED - 30/20kg barbell + 2 x 10/7kg Dumbells

Intermediate - 50/35kg barbell + 2 x 15/10kg dumbells

RX - 60/45kg barbell + 2 x 22.5/15kg dumbells
