About This Competition

2019 Outwork Addiction is the second annual fundraiser benefitting the Temperance Training Foundation - a local 501(c)(3) Nonprofit dedicated to providing free fitness to those who have been affected by the disease of addiction.

We offer free CrossFit classes, group meditations, and other sober festivities to anyone affected by the disease of addiction who has 24 hours or more of continuous sobriety. Our mission is to inspire health and hope and to de-stigmatize the disease of addiction in our society.

All of our services are always free - so we rely big time on this event for the bulk of our annual budget.

We are asking our teams to commit to a total fundraising goal of $300. There will be prizes for the teams who raise the most! All donations are tax deductible. To create your fundraising page (it only takes a few minutes!) please click the link below:

KING & QUEEN OFTHE HILL
    - 2 Scores

  1. ACCUMULATE MAX SNATCH
  2. ACCUMULATE MAX CLEAN+JERK

There will be only two lifting platforms, one for the Men and one for the Women. Weight will start with just the bar and increase in 5-10lb increments.

Each athlete will be given 5 total lifts OR 2 misses, whichever comes first.

A strategy is key! Once a weight passes by, it's gone; plan accordingly. Possible strategy: use your first 3 lifts to hit "sure thing" lifts and use lifts 4&5 to max-out.

If you have made 3 successful lifts and fail on your 4th. You have the option to hit that weight one more time OR save your last lift for the next jump up.
