About This Competition

This event is event THREE in the TikTok Based Virtual Strength Competition!

This month we are giving away a Supplement Package from Earth Fed Muscle valued at $150! ANYONE registered has a chance to win, and the top 5 athletes with the most points across the year in each division will be invited to compete in the grand finale in December for a CASH PRIZE!

All video submissions MUST BE posted to TikTok AND submitted here for them to count, and must use the hashtag #bigbendstrengthgames2022 AND tag @bigbendstrength in the caption.

Finally, The March Event Is...

The Back Squat 1RM and Jerk 1RM!

Back Squat: The squat may be Low Bar or High Bar, and the athlete must have the hip crease pass below the knee, and videos MUST Be filmed from the side to show depth. The lifter may where a belt, knee sleeves, and/or knee wraps, BUT a squat suit or briefs are not permitted.

Jerk: This may be a push, power, split, or squat jerk, AND It may be behind the neck jerk or front rack jerk! This can be performed from a rack, after a clean, or from blocks! There is no Press-out rule. The only requirement is that the lifter makes an attempt to get under the bar somehow, and the lifter returns the feet together and stand uproight with the elbows locked and show control before dropping the bar. Bar Slams ARE NOT REQUIRED, but are heavily recommended.

Event 2 Lift 1: Back Squat 1RM

Athletes will perform a 1RM Back Squat to find the heaviest possible weight. 

The squat may be high bar or low bar, and the athlete mus thave the hip crease pass below the top of the knee. VIDEOS MUST BE FILMED FROM THE SIDE, in order to see depth. The lifter may wear a belt, knee sleeves, knee wraps, and any combination of the three, but a squat suit or breifs are not permitted. 

Event 3 Lift 2:

Jerk 1RM

The jerk may be any variation including push, power, split, or squat, AND may be performed from the front OR back rack position. This can be performed from the rack, after a clean, or from blocks. THERE IS NO PRESSOUT RULE. The only requirement is that the lifter makes an attempt to get under the bar somehow, indicated by the knees rebending after extension. The lifter will then return the feet to under the hips, and show control before dropping the bar. Bar Slams are NOT REQUIRED, but they are heavily recommended.
