About This Competition

Masters Mixed Sex Pairs Competition (70+, 80+, 90+)

*Minimum age of 35+.

*Made up of any combination of ages of ages.

 

Venue - CrossFit Cheltenham

 

- 3 WODs for all teams. The team with the least points over 3 WODs wins


- NO QUALIFIERS


- Enjoy a great competition at a friendly box run by an events team with nine years experience of running successful team events

 

£78 per team

Other info:
The WODs will be released before the Throwdown.
Prizes for all podium finishers.
This event is child and dog friendly, so bring your friends and family along!
Spectators can come and cheer you on for free!
There will be plenty of space to park in the industrial estate where the box is located.

Workouts

Workout 1 has 2 entirely seperate scoring parts:

Part A

Teams will select the weight they will use for the shoulder to overhead and will be ranked heaviest to lighest.

Part B

Teams will complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 7 minutes of:

5 shoulder to overhead (at desired weight)
7 toes to bar / 14 toes to chest height
9 sync burpees
35 double unders / 70 single unders

Workout 1 has 2 entirely seperate scoring parts:

Part A

Teams will select the weight they will use for the shoulder to overhead and will be ranked heaviest to lighest.

On a 9 minute running clock complete the following.

1 minute to compete as many gymnastic reps as possible for points:
Assisted pull ups 1 point
Pull ups 3 points
Chest to bar pull ups 6 points
Bar muscle ups 14 points

1:00-2:00
1 minute rest

2:00-7:00
5 minutes to establish a max weight on the following complex: 1 clean + 1 hang clean

7:00-8:00
1 minute rest

8:00-9:00
1 minute to compete as many reps as possible for points:
Assisted pull ups 1 point
Pull ups 3 points
Chest to bar pull ups 6 points
Bar muscle ups 14 points

Workout 2 has 2 entirely separate scoring parts.

20 sync hang to overhead with kettlebell and dumbbell

20 sync box step over (24/20") with kettlebell and dumbbell

20 sync devils press with kettlebell and dumbbell
