Battle of the Lion 2024 - Online Qualification
About This Competition
Online Registration dates:
Individual registration starts January 01 and lasts until April 7, 2024 23:59h CEST.
Final date:
The finals will take place in Osnabrück, Germany, on the weekend of July 05 to July 07 2024. Exact starting times for all divisions are going to bepublished via CC after the qualification is over. The organiser has the right to make changes.
Qualifying period and score submission:
Event 1 will be announced on April 01 and the score must be entered before 23:59h CEST of April 07
Event 2 will be announced on April 08 and the score must be entered before 23:59h CEST of April 14.
Event 3 will be announced on April 15 and the score must be entered before 23:59h CEST of April 21.
Divisions
Elite M/F
Masters M/F 40+ (1975 - 1984)
Masters M/F 50+ (1974+)
Teens 12-14 (2010 - 2012)
Teens 15-17 (2007 - 2009)
Team Elite 2F + 2M
Team Intermediate F/F M/M M/F
Team Scaled F/F M/M M/F
Division standards:
Elite
Athletes in the Elite divisions are expected to have performed all workouts in the preceding Open as prescribed with no scaling or modifications. Experience in other RX’d events/finals is advised.
Intermediate
This division is for the competitive athlete with some holes in their game. Athletes who want to qualify for the intermediate division are expected to have performed most of the Open workouts in the preceding Open in a Rx version. As a guideline, you should be able to perform pull ups, double unders etc.
Scaled
This division is for athlete that want compare themselves in the basic movements they learned in their classes. Athletes who want to qualify for the scaled division are expected to have performed all Open workouts in the preceding Open in a scaled version. As a guideline, this would be your first or second live competition at the latest if you plan to compete in the scaled division.
Age Groups
For the determination of the age groups, only the year of birth counts not the specific date.
