About This Competition
Join us this Veterans Day Weekend, for a powerful and inspiring Fitness Fundraiser in partnership with Nothing but Love Notes. This event aims to raise awareness for the critical issues facing our veterans and first responders, who experience some of the highest rates of suicide. With Nothing but Love Notes, we believe in the transformative power of handwritten messages to our everyday heroes. This event is all about honoring their sacrifices while showing them they’re never alone! Together, we can make a difference and honor those who protect us.
Event Details
Date: Saturday, November 9th
Time: 8:00am start time —> early afternoon finish
Location: Burn Boot Camp Paradise Valley
Participation Fee: $40 per person (100% of proceeds will be donated to Nothing but Love Notes!)
Format: Partner team event testing your fitness across three exciting workouts:
1. Army of Two
2. Battle Buddies Boot Camp
3. Brace for Impact
Divisions: Choose your challenge! Compete in one of our two strength divisions:
Burn (Beginner) — Perfect for those just starting out!
Hero (Advanced) — For our athletes ready to take it up a notch!
Grab a partner and register in the division that suits you best. Sign-up sheets will be available at the front desk thru October 26th.
Join us for a day of fitness, camaraderie, and community spirit as we honor our heroes and spread love through our notes to hometown heroes. Together, we can make a significant impact!

Workouts
BUY IN: 30 Wall Walks (total)
30-20-10
Synchro Jump Lunges
Synchro Push Ups
Synchro High Five Sit Ups
BUY OUT: 30 Pullups (total)
Both the BUY IN and BUY OUT reps are total reps split between partners, however you choose to split them with only one partner working at a time.
The 30-20-10 portion are reps done in synchronization. It will be completed as a ladder starting with 30 reps of each movement, followed by 20 of each, ending with 10 of each before the final "buy out."
The synchronization points of contact will be;
Jump Lunges: Knee to Floor Contact
Push Ups: Lock Out at Top
Sit Ups: High Five at Top
The workout is complete when the final pullup rep is completed. The "score" for the workout is the time taken to complte the workout.
Round 1: Weighted Half Burpee
Round 2: DB Cleans
Round 3: Thrusters
Round 4: Devils Press
Rotator: 1 Building Lap
This workout will be scored in two parts; 1. Total Time to Complete. 2. Total Reps Completed.
Partner One will be completing as many reps as possible in the prescribed movement for that round while Partner Two is completing a building lap. Both Partners will perform the round exercise and run a building lap before moving on to the next round.
The workout ends when each partner has completed all 4 rounds of building laps.
Round 1: Weighted Half Burpee

50 Box Jumps
40 Med Ball Cleans
30 Box Jumps Overs
20 Med Ball Slams
10 Burpee Box Jump Overs (each)
This floater workout will be performed outside at any available slot between the start of workout one and the final heat of workout two.
This workout is scored by time to complete. Reps for exercises 1-4 may be split between partners at their discretion with only one partner working at a time.
The 5th exercise, 10 burpee box jump overs, are to be done as 10 reps each partner.
The workout is complete when each partner completes their 10 burpee box jump overs
