About This Competition
ARENA is CrossFit Talisman's individual competition 9th and 10th May, 2026
SATURDAY 9th MAY: RX & INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
SUNDAY 10th MAY: EVERYDAY DIVISION
*Cash prizes for the RX podium
3-4 workouts for all divisions
*Minimum of 3 workouts for all divisions, including a floater or finale workout; full format TBA closer to the competition.
If you've ever been to one of our events before you'll know the atmosphere is always electric.
Spectator tickets are free so if you're not competing come on down and enjoy the festival vibes.
Division Guidelines & Standards:

All standards are a rough approximation of an appropriate level of skill, strength and capacity.
Our programmers always reserve the right to challenge you, regardless of division.
RX:
Deadlift @85-150/55-105kg
Barbell cycling @40-85/30-55kg
Dumbbells @22.5/15kg (1 or 2)
Kettlebells @24-32kg/16-24kg
Sandbags @30-50/50-75kg
Double-unders & pistol squats
Toes-to-bar, pull-ups, Chest-to-bar, ring & bar muscle-ups.
Intermediate:
Deadlift @85-125/55-85kg
Barbell cycling @40-70/30-47.5kg
Dumbbells & Kettlebells @22.5/24kg & 15/16kg
Sandbags @30-40/50-60kg
Double-unders (in smaller volume than RX)
Toes-to-bar, pull-ups & Chest-to-bar
Everyday:
Deadlift @70-100/45-70kg
Barbell cycling @30-50/20-35kg
Dumbbells @15-22.5kg/10-15kg
Sandbags @30/50kg
Box jumps may be step-ups
Some hanging movements e.g. knee raises or pull-ups (only as a high-level skill at the end of a workout).
Partial Wall Walks
Masters "Open" Division:
Our "Open" Division is a combination of RX/Intermediate; these workouts will be accessible to intermediate but still challenging for RX.
After introducing the RX/Inter "Open" at Heart & Fire 2026 with great success; we will be adopting this same category/skill-level for the Masters "Open" division at ARENA 2026.
