The Bagent Beatdown : Try Not to Die Challenge

Alright, here’s the deal. NFL quarterback Tyson Bagent is throwing down a workout that’s gonna slap your lungs inside out. It’s dirty. It’s painful. And yeah, technically ALMOST anyone can do it. We made sure 99% of the population can suffer through it without needing to scale it to finger painting.

There’s no prize money. No cheering fans. Just you, a timer, and the creeping realization that you might’ve made a terrible mistake.

But if you finish.... actually finish....you’ll be eligible for the limited-edition “I Beat Bagent” T-shirt from VNDK8.

No ego. No glory. Just pain, pride, and maybe a shirt. Try not to throw up.

For time:

100 Calorie Row

100 Lateral Burpees Over the Rower


Time Cap: 10 Minutes
Score: Time to completion (or total reps completed if time capped)

Workout Flow:
At the sound of “3, 2, 1… go,” the athlete begins on the rower. Once 100 calories are rowed and displayed on the monitor, the athlete may move directly into 100 lateral burpees over the rower.


The workout ends when the athlete completes the final burpee or when the 10-minute time cap is reached.


Movement Standards:
Calorie Row
The monitor must be reset to zero before the start.


Calories must be rowed actively—no ghost calories are permitted.


The athlete must remain seated with feet secured until the monitor clearly reads 100 calories.


The athlete may not touch the floor with their feet until after the 100th calorie is achieved.


Lateral Burpees Over the Rower
The athlete must be positioned parallel to the rower throughout the movement.


Each rep begins with the athlete’s chest and thighs touching the ground on one side of the rower.


The athlete must jump laterally over the rower to the opposite side. *No Gui Jumping IFYKY*


Stepping over is not allowed.


Two-foot takeoff is not required, but the feet must clearly leave the ground and clear the rower in a jumping motion.


The rep is counted once the athlete has landed on the far side and begun lowering for the next burpee.


There is no requirement to reach full extension before or after the jump.

The rail must be jumped over entirely; no contact with the rower is allowed during the jump.

Standard Concept 2 or Rogue Echo Rower must be used.
