About This Competition
CrossFit Wicked is excited to announce the 4th Annual Wicked Summer Throwdown, which will take place on June 24, 2023! This CrossFit competition is open to COED teams of TWO and features TWO divisions: RX and Intermediate
All participating teams are guaranteed to compete in three Wods, and there will be WICKED awesome prizes for the winners! CrossFit Wicked has a reputation for running a smooth and on-time event, ensuring that all participants have a great experience!
If you're looking for a challenging and fun competition to showcase your CrossFit skills, the Wicked Summer Throwdown is the perfect opportunity!
How to choose your division?
If you normally RX all workouts in the Open then you should choose RX. Have a few holes in your game with movements like T2B and C2B? Then you should choose Intermediate. All Wods will be released no later than one month prior to event. If you chose the wrong division, no biggie! You can always switch!
All participants that register BEFORE June 3rd will go home with event SWAG!

*Tie-Breaker deadlifts
Scoring: Total Cleans completed between both athletes. Tie breaker is total deadlifts completed between both athletes
Workout Flow: All bars will be preset with weights. 2 lanes one for women and one for men. 3-2-1 go,,,both athletes will step uo to their first bar. They will have 40 seconds to complete 3 cleans. All 3 reps MUST be completed before the 40 seconds has expired. If they are successful they will move onto next bar during the 20 transition time. If the athlete can only complete one or two reps then they can choose to complete as many deadlifts as possible until the 40 seconds is up as their tie breaker. Since the athlete did not complete all 3 reps they are finished with the workout and will step out of line. If the athlete completes a bar but knows they are unable to clean the next weight they will still move onto the next bar and perform as many deadlifts as possible as the tie-break. If partner one successfully clears the weight but partner 2 does not, partner 1 will move onto the next bar and partner 2 will be finished.
LAST BAR- If the athlete makes it to the final bar they will complete as many cleans as possible. They may switch over to deadlifts at any time during the 40 seconds. Once a deadlift has been completed they may not switch back to cleans.
