Workouts

In 3 minutes, complete as many valid tire flips as possible. Athletes may flip the tire back and forth or flip it to one another. Strategy is up to you—just get the reps done.

Format: 21-15-9
Score: Total time to complete all reps
One athlete works at a time

Workout Flow:

  • Partner A completes 21 Thrusters + 21 C2B
  • Partner B completes 21 Thrusters + 21 Pull-Ups
  • Partner A completes 15 Thrusters + 15 C2B
  • Partner B completes 15 Thrusters + 15 Pull-Ups
  • Partner A completes 9 Thrusters + 9 C2B
  • Partner B completes 9 Thrusters + 9 Pull-Ups

Note: Once athletes are designated as Partner A or Partner B, they must remain in that role with corresponding standards for the duration of the workout.

Part A: ATV PULL


Movement Standards:


- Athlete pulls the ATV in tandem using an attached tow rope
- Must remain upright – no crawling or sitting
- The entire ATV must cross the finish line
- Rope must remain attached and under tension throughout

Scoring: Fastest time to complete full pull
Time Cap: 1:00
If not completed within the cap, score is distance pulled

Part B: SLED PUSH
Movement Standards:
 - Athlete must push sled from behind – hands must stay on handles (low or high
depending on setup)
 - Sled must begin entirely behind the start line and cross the finish line to count
 - No pulling, dragging, or lifting permitted

Distance: Measured in 5 ft increments
Scoring: Fastest time to complete furthest distance
Time Cap: 1:00

Part C: L-SIT HOLD

Movement Standards:

 - Athlete supports their body on two parallettes.
 - Hands must be placed at the midpoint of the parallettes and must not move during the hold.

 - Heels must remain above the top of the plate stack and may not make contact or pass behind the plates.
 - Legs must remain straight and together (minor knee bend allowed due to spacing).


 - Arms must stay fully locked out.
 - No rocking, leaning, or shifting weight for advantage

Hold Ends If:
 - Heels drop below or touch the plates
 - Feet pass behind the plate stack
 - Legs bend significantly
 - Arms unlock or hands move

Scoring: Total unbroken hold time (up to 1:00 max)
Time Cap: 1:00

Workout Flow:

Partner A runs 400m (outside)
While Partner A runs, Partner B completes:

- 12 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches
- 10 Calories on Assigned Bike
- Lateral Burpees Over Line

When Partner A returns, partners tag off & switch roles
Partner B picks up exactly where Partner A left off

Workout Flow:

- 50 Synchronized Wall Balls (20/14 lb to 10'/9')
- Then 3 Rounds:
- 1 full round of DT per partner (alternate complete rounds)
- 20 Synchronized Toes-to-Bar
- 80 Jump Rope Reps per athlete (160 total per round)

Part B: Sled Push


● Push a rogue sled
● Distance: TBD
● Score: Time to complete

Part C: L-Sit or Tuck Hold


● Feet off ground, knees tucked, arms straight on parallettes
● Score: Longest unbroken hold (max 3:00)

Partners Must Complete Movements:

- 200m Run (holding onto rope & cone-to-cone)
- 16 Partner Tire Flips (together or back and forth)
- 12 Tire Facing Burpees (into-out of tire & reps are total)
- 8 Plate Ground-to-Overhead

For Time: 21-15-9

- DB Goblet Squats
- Ring Rows

Workout Description:

30 Medball Tosses (4–8 lb) — partners toss and catch medball back and forth

Then, complete 3 Rounds of:

- 10 Synchronized Barbell Deadlifts
- 15 Synchronized Sit-Ups
- 30 Lateral Hops (“You go, I go” — 15 each)

Time Cap: 3:00
Score: Max Completed Reps (Each 150ft = 1 Rep)

Youth Event 1: “GRIT TEST MINI”

Part A: ATV Rope Pull


● Pull an ATV attached to a rope from a standing position
● Score: Time to complete
