About This Competition

Our 4th annual competition that gives athletes an experience like competing at the CrossFit Games. We pride ourselves on always running on time and only our coaching staff and most experienced members will be judges. 

1 Day

2 Venues: Cottonmill Park, Kearney CrossFit inside & on our back field

Athlete, judge & volunteer party Saturday night

Teams of 2: M/M & F/F 

Divisions: Scaled, Intermediate, RX, Masters 40-49 & 50+

$2,000 minimum cash payout to RX Divisions*

*This may change based upon losing sponsors to Covid-19. We will pay cash, but not sure how much. 

Prize packages for all divisions

As an athlete you can expect to be tested in all areas of fitness:

Bike, Row, Run (short and far)

Olympic Lift (light, medium, heavy)

Traditional Power Lifts (light, medium, heavy)

Odd Object

Gymnastics

Classic CrossFit

Lots of parking and room for tents to be set up adjacent to our gym and front row view of our back field.

*These are general guidelines. You should be able to move all weights for reps. We may not use weights this heavy, but we want you to be well prepared just in case.

3 x 4:00 Minute AMRAPs

RX:

30/24 x Calorie Row

10 x DB Deadlifts (50#/35#) – EACH PERSON

50’ x Front Rack DB Walking Lunges – EACH PERSON

ME x Box Facing Burpee Box Jump Overs (24”/20”)

 

*Score is total number of burpees

 

Intermediate/Masters: 2 DBs for Deadlifts & 1 DB for Lunges (50#/35#)

Scaled: 1 Dumbbell for all (35#/25#) & Step Ups allowed

RX: 

For Time:

Person A: Bike 2,000/1,800m

Person B: Run 1/2 mile

Switch when both partners are done. Complete 5 Rounds (Person A will bike 3x and run 2x. Person B will run 3x and bike 2x).

 

Intermediate and Masters: 4 Rounds

Scaled: 3 Rounds

RX:

5:00 Minute AMRAP (Reps)

Person A: Calorie Ski Erg

Person B: Handstand Walk

 

*Switch whenever you want

*Every calorie = 1 rep

*Every 5' walked = 1 rep

 

Intermediate/Masters: Toes to Bar

Scaled: Leg Raises

 

Part A - For Weight:

15 x Snatches 

15 x Clean & Jerks

*5:00 Minute Cap*

REST 1:00 MINUTE

Part B - For 2 Weights:

Person A: 1-RM Snatch

Person B: 1-RM Clean & Jerk

*5:00 Minute Cap*

 

*You may split reps, and do them in any order, for Part A.

*You get 1 barbell and you must submit your weight for Part A at check-in. No changing of weight after check-in. 

*If you do not complete all 30 reps, within the time cap, you do not get a score for Part A. 

*For Part B, only 1 person may attempt to snatch and the other must clean & jerk. You may go up, or down, in weight as often as you like with unlimited attempts in the 5:00 minutes. 

*For both parts, any type of snatch and clean & jerk is allowed. 

 

2 Rounds For Time:

Person A:

Sprint down and place baton in circle

Push prowler sled back (fully across midline)

Run back, grab baton, and run it to Person B

Person B:

Sprint down and place baton in circle

Push prowler sled down (fully across line)

Grab baton and sprint back to Person A
