About This Competition

The 2022 CFV Championship is a partner competition for the CrossFit community and a fundraiser for The Way. The Way is the charitable arm of CrossFit Fort Vancovuer with a simple mission: to serve, give, and uplift.  

Format
Ten-Day ONLINE competition

Dates
Workouts announced Friday, January 14th, 2022
Score submissions due Monday, January 24th, 2022

Registration
Athlete registration opens December 1st. Prior to athlete registration, movment expectations for each division as well as a full list of required equipment will be released on our social media pages.

Divisions
All divisions will compete in same-gender pairs. Athletes will need to be in the same location to complete the events.

Equipment Requirements
1 Concept 2 Rowing Machine
1 Barbell with enough weight to lift heavy
1 Set of Dumbbells
Pull-up Bar
Medicine Ball
Box
Jump Rope

Cost
$208.50/pair*:

It's important to us that all participating athletes know exactly where their registration fees are going. Here's the breakdown

  • $50 goes to RARR Sportswear for two Athlete T-Shirts
  • $50 goes to the Athlete Prize Payout
  • $50 goes to The Way Foundation
  • $50 goes to CrossFit Fort Vancouver
  • $8.50 goes to Competition Corner Event Platform

*Cost including transaction fees and platform cost is $208.57 per pair.

Athlete Prizes
Prize payouts will grow as athlete registration continues to grow. Exact payouts will be announced at the close of competition. 

Athlete T-Shirts
All registered athletes will receive a 2022 competition T-Shirt. Pairs that register prior to December 17th will receive their shirts prior to competition. Pairs that register after December 17th will receive their shirts after competition has concluded.

Video Validation
The top 5 pairs in each division will be asked to submit a video for review before podium places and prize payouts are awarded.

Refunds & Substitutions
We will not be issuing refunds for any reason. Team members may be substituted if necessary until Friday, 1/14 when the workouts are announced.
