About This Competition
Join CrossFit Misfits as they team up with The HOT Strength and Fitness Expo in hosting our 1st Annual Functional Fitness competition. The event will not only test your fitness abilities but also how well you work with others. Expect a combination of running, lifts and skills to be performed.

FORMAT: Teams of 2 (M/M and F/F)
DIVISIONS: Competitive / Intermediate / Community
LOCATION: Waco, TX
COST: $200
PRIZE MONEY:
Competitive Division : 1st-$1,000 / 2nd-$500 / 3rd-$250
Intermediate Division : 1st-$500 / 2nd-$250 / 3rd-$150
Community Division : 1st / 2nd / 3rd NO CASH PRIZE/BUT MISCELLANEOUS PRIZES
REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be accepted.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Team changes will be allowed. Must be submitted by July 15th to mike@cfmisfits.com
WORKOUT RELEASE DATE: All workouts and standards will be released the months of June & July.
COMPETITIVE and INTERMEDIATE DIVISIONS: Athletes in the Competitive division should consist of a team that normally completes the CrossFit Open in the Rx'd division.
COMMUNITY DIVISION: Athletes in the Community division should consist of a team that normally completes the CrossFit Open in the Scaled division.

Partner A: Barbell Thrusters
Partner B: Double Dumbell Thrusters
*athletes can switch from barbell and double dumbbell thrusters between sets, but must stay on their chosen equipment for the entire set of reps before switching.
* athletes will move the barbell and dumbbells forward to the next sets reps' label on the floor before putting down the weights and going back to the rower.
*At the last set of thrusters, the athletes may drop the barbell and dumbbells and sprint back to the rower pad where time will then stop.
**Synchronized Thruster reps- they will count when both athletes reach full extension at the top of the rep with barbell and dumbbells above their head with straight arms and open hips, at the same time. Athletes do not have to be at the bottom of the squat at the same time for the rep to count.
Competitive:
Barbell weight: 95 pounds for men, 50 pounds for women
Double Dumbbells weight: 65 pounds each for men, 35 pounds each for women
Intermediate:
Barbell weight: 75 pounds for men, 35 pounds for women
Double Dumbbells weight: 50 pounds each for men, 20 pounds each for women
Community:
Barbell weight: 55 pounds for men, 35 pounds for women
