About This Competition
Get ready for some competitive fun in the Sunny Hawkes Bay at the EVO 2s, Pairs will consist of a Male and Female and will compete in 3 divisions – Beginners, Scaled and RX. We will hit 3 WODs and after the dust settles kit out the champs
$50 Entry Per Team + CC Costs

Workouts

800m Row (400m each)
WOD 1 - A New Hope
3,2,1 GO The pair will start their 800m run together head back into the gym and share (however they like) 50 Pull Ups, 100 Press Ups and 150 Air Squats (at required standard) then they will finish with a shared 800m Row (400m each unbroken)
RX & INT - Workout as perscribed
SC - Ring Row & Kneeling Press Ups
You cannot start exercises until both the pair are back in their square from their run.

9 Toe 2 Bar
1 Wall walk (goes up 1 every round)’
WOD 2 - Empire Strikes Back
3,2,1 GO! Partner 1 will start the Ski, KB Swing and Toe 2 Bar then finish off with a wall walk, Once round is completed Partner 2 will start their round, they will finish with 2 wall walks and each round 1 wall walk will be added on. This will continue until 15min.
RX - 32/24 - Toe 2 Bar - Blue Line Wall Walk
INT - 24/16 - Toe 2 Bar - Blue Line Wall Walk
SC - 16/12 - Toe 2 Target - Yellow Line Wall Walk
Rounds will be 1 for 1
There will be a Blue Wall Walk line for the RX & INT Grades and a yellow for the Scaled.

WOD 3 - Return of the Jedi
3,2,1 GO - Partner 1 will have 2 minutes to complete the Bike, Hang Snatch & OH forward Lunges before maxing out on the Burpee Over Bar. As soon as the 2 minutes is done Partner 2 will start their Bike, Hang Cleans and Front rack Forward Lunges before maxing out on Burpee over bar. Both will repeat this for 3 rounds each. The score is Total combined burpees over bar.
RX Snatch 50/40 - Clean 60/50
INT Snatch 40/30 - Clean 50/40
SC Snatch 30/23 - Clean 40/30
The pair will select who is doing what segment and there is no changing once you have chosen.
If weight needs to be changed on the bar it is to be changed by the pair, not the judge or crowd.
Burpee standard 2 feet take off 2 feet land, NOT Staggered.
