About This Competition

Fire is a very demanding job and we must maintain our fitness year-round to be fit for duty. Endless time in the gym, pounding pavement, throwing on a weighted pack hiking up the steepest mountain you can find. All of this is to be ready for whatever the fireline may throw at us. And with our nature we are just naturally competitive. So why don't we find out who is the fittest on the fireline?

Pulaskis And Barbells is bringing the 2020 Fireline Throwdown. This will take place over a 4 week period, presenting a new weekly workout. Each week athletes will have 5 days to complete the workout. The workouts must be recorded and uploaded for verification. With each workout rules will be presented and will be available for any clarification.

With this we will crown the fittest male and female on the fireline awarding cash prizes, swag, and an assortment of other goodies.

With registration each individual will receive a shirt.

No Refunds or Substitiutes, all sales are final

Must be a present or past firefighter

In this competition the goal is to get a wide variety of individuals within the fire community to allow them to compete utilizing minimal equipment and not requiring advanced movements. The equipment you will need for this event is two 50/35 lbs dumbbells, barbell, bumper plates (steel plates will work, but bumpers would be ideal), 20” box or equivalent, pull-up bar, squat rack, and bench.

You will NOT see these following movements: Overhead Squats, Squat Snatches, Muscle-Ups, Pistol Squats, Double-Unders, or Handstand Walks.
