August 28th 2021 7:00am kick-off
CrossFit HomeBase Central
825 NW 85th St.
Oklahoma City, OK 73114
*** NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. TEAMS CAN TRANSFER THEIR SPOTS ***
1. Early check in Friday August 27th, 4-7pm. One teammate can checkin & grab bags, but both waivers must be submitted before team’s first event
2. Saturday check in will begin at 6:00am. Team’s must be fully checked in 10 minutes prior to their first heat time.
3. Athletes don’t need to check in together but each athlete must be fully checked in, screened, & have a waiver signed before they’re allowed to start their first event. Same screening as BATB5, temperature check, athlete number on arms, waivers signed, etc. We will be staging athletes 5 minutes before their heat time in between the warm-up area & arena floor for a quick athlete brief
4. Bring your tents, chairs, coolers & blankets. Athlete areas must be outside the gym in or around the parking lot.
5. All athletes must have a temperature check, issued a red bracelet, & their team number on their arm to enter the warmup area & arena floor area. Athletes don't have to wear a mask behind the event barriers where they’re warming up or competing. However, if you choose to enter the gym to watch other heats you must be wearing a mask to keep your screening in good standing.
6. Equipment & lanes will be sanitized & cleaned after each heat to ensure athlete safety.
7. Spectators will be screened and allowed into the gym to watch. We will not argue this. Please appreciate & understand we are here as a celebration of fitness without any issues. We are all adults, we will follow the OKC Mandate no questions asked. You will not be allowed in the gym to spectate without following the city mandate.
8. We have set all gyms as close to each other in heats so guests can watch all their athletes simultaneously & move out of the gym so new spectators can enter to watch their loved ones. We ask that spectators try to limit gym traffic to the ones they came to cheer on. Please do not crowd up & keep 2-3 feet of safe distance.
9. Chalk Policy. It'll be provided.
11. Poe Prepping LLC will have their food truck out serving meals to athletes & spectators all day long so go check them out. They offer healthy, macro managed meals that will keep you fueled all day long! Follow their page for more info!
12. Scoring dispute. If you sign your scorecard we will not discuss any disputes. If you refuse to sign your scorecard you will be directed to Head Judge Derek McElroy to discuss the issue. We will not watch any spectator videos to determine workout outcomes. Please do not argue or dress down our judges. Our volunteers are working hard for free to bring you an awesome experience & celebrate your fitness. We will not tolerate any bad attitudes! All issues will be directed to Head Judge Derek McElroy. His final decision is the final decision.
NO ATHLETES OR SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE SCORING AREA!
We’ve all been looking forward to fun CrossFit competitions for a long time! Let’s come together & have a blast as a CrossFit community. That takes all of us being adults & doing our part to show The City why fitness is vital to our citizens. Rest up! We’ll see you soon!
