About This Competition
Join us on December 9, 2023 for the inaugural S3 "WINTER WAR"
This is a same sex (M/M F/F) competition where teams of 2 will compete in exciting and challenging workouts.
We will have RX and S-RX divisions
When: December 9, 2023
Time: First heat begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Athlete check-in: 7:30 a.m.
Metcon briefing/expectations for the day: 8:45 a.m.
Place: S3 Strength & Fitness - 4793 Rockwell Road, Winchester, KY
Format: Teams of 2 M/M F/F
Price: $160 per team
Both RX and S-Rx workouts are programmed. All workouts have been posted.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in Both Divisions
Cash Prize for 1st Place for Male and Female RX Division

Workouts
For time and reps (2 scores)

Athletes will chip away at-
1500m row 40-power snatches
These can be split in any amount. One athlete must row while the other snatches. If one movement is completed prior to the other then both athletes can chip away at the remainder of the reps.
Once both the meters and reps are complete the judge will document the time. From there with the time remaining both athletes will chip away at the following movements for total reps

Partner B. 3- kettlebell swings 3-walballs Then 6 Kettlebell Swings 6 Wall Balls, 9 and 9, 12 and 12, Go up by 3 reps for 10 Minutes.

For this workout partner A will begin on the ski erg while Partner B starts to chip away at 3-kettlebell swings and 3-wallballs. Once athlete B completes 3 and 3 they will switch over to the ski erg and athlete A will do 6 and 6. This format will continue with athletes rotating and adding 3 additional reps each successful round until the clock expires at 10 minutes.
Partners will have 8 minutes to find a 1rm axle bar clean.
Continental cleans are acceptable. Score is successful combined weight moved

At 3-2-1 go athletes will accumulate the set calories on the echo bikes, split calories how ever you desire. From there one athlete must complete 21 deadlifts before athlete B then completes 21 deadlifts. Once done the athletes will then Get back on the bike and work down the list. Weights for barbells movements can be done once the calories prior to the lift are completed.
