About This Competition

It’s that time of year again! 2022 Australia Day Throwdown! The ultimate test of fittest over 2 days. Hosted by the TMM Fitness in small country town, Tumut NSW.

$15,000 Prize pool with $2,500 for first place RX Male and Female mixed pairs

What: 2-day Pairs Fitness Competition.

Rego Opens: 1st November

Early-Bird Price: $280

Price: $320

Final date to rego and still receives a shirt is the 31st December

Rego will be open until the day of competition if you register after 31st we can’t guarantee we will have a shirt the right size.

We will have 4 categories listed below:

·      RX Females

·      RX Males

·      Scaled Female pairs

·      Scaled Male Pairs

Must be a minimum of 12 years old to enter. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Day 1: Off Grid

Registration will be at 7am at 1/377 Wee Jasper Rd Bombowlee NSW 2720 followed by a 7:30am brief.  We will then be getting onto a bus and going off site for the whole day this means you need to be prepared for a day of competition. Please note there will be no service at the venue. This venue is on private property, so access to a landline can be made available in emergencies.

Buses are only available for athletes. Teens under the age of 16 may be accompanied by 1 adult on the bus. Spectators may drive to this location and parking will be available. There will be a short walk from parking to venue arena, if you have heavy items, or have mobility requirements we are more than happy to arrange a lift from the parking to venue. It is a 25-minute drive to the venue.

There will be multiple outdoor events in hot conditions. There is also a small creek which you can cool off in.

There will be first aid onsite and portable toilets at the venue.

What to bring:

Water, food, shoes for running, all necessary CrossFit gear, sunscreen, something to sit on forms of shade i.e., gazebos, please note there is also shaded areas.

Description and Movement List:


RX Males

Running, rowing, bike, sandbag cleans, carries 150lb, single arm db thrusters, db snatch, db clean and jerk, db overhead squat 22.5kg, handstand walks, toes to bar, pull ups, clean and jerk 90kg, power and squat snatch 60kg, deadlift 140kg, rope climbs.

RX Females

Running, rowing, bike, sandbag cleans, carries 100lb, single arm db thrusters, db snatch, db clean and jerk, db overhead squat 15kg, handstand walks, toes to bar, pull ups, clean and jerk 65kg, power and squat snatch 40kg, deadlift 100kg, rope climbs.

Scaled Female Pairs

Running, rowing, bike, sandbag cleans, carries 75lb, single arm db thrusters, db snatch, db clean and jerk, db overhead squat 12.5kg, high knees, pull ups, clean and jerk 45kg, power and squat snatch 30kg, deadlift 70kg.


Scaled Male Pairs

Running, rowing, bike, sandbag cleans, carries 100lb, single arm db thrusters, db snatch, db clean and jerk, db overhead squat 17.5kg, high knees, pull ups, clean and jerk 70kg, power and squat snatch 50kg, deadlift 100kg.


*Further scaling options can be made available on the day of competition*


Registration Details:

·      Transfer or registration to another party can be made available if necessary.

·      No refunds

 

Day Two:

 

There will be no need to register for day two. Please note there will be a brief at 7:30am.

 

What to bring:

Water, food, all necessary CrossFit gear, sunscreen, chairs. There will be coffee and food to purchase the venue.

Notes:

There will be first aid kits onsite and portable toilets at the venue. Parking will be at the rear of helicopter hangar.
