Snatch Weight

RX (M/F) 70kg / 50kg

Throwdown (M/F) 60kg / 40kg

A for time workout, athletes to use their prescribed weight, any variation of snatch is allowed (Power / Squat) but you must show full extension when completing the rep and the bar must start from the floor on each rep. Athletes should use the standard Wall ball height (10ft male / 9ft female). For Athletes in the scaled division you must perform 100 x single unders each round even if you can double under. Once the workout is completed record time OR total reps completed in 12 minutes.

Movement Standards

Snatch

For the snatch, the athlete must bring the bar from the ground to the overhead position in one smooth motion. At the top, the arms, hips and knees must be fully locked out with the bar directly over the middle of the athlete’s body and the feet in line under the body. No part of the body other than the feet may touch the ground during the execution of the lift.  A muscle snatch, power snatch, squat snatch or split snatch may be used. This is NOT a ground-to-overhead any way. A clean and jerk, where the bar is lifted to the shoulders and then lifted overhead, is a no rep.

Wall Balls

In the wall ball, the medicine ball must be taken from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below knee, and thrown to hit the specified target. The centre of the ball must hit the target at or above the specified target height. If the ball hits low or does not hit the wall it is no rep.

Double/Single Under

This is a standard double under in which the rope passes twice for each jump. Only successful jumps are counted, not just attempts.

SINGLE UNDERS : For scaled divisions, the rope passes under the feet once for each jump. he rope must spin forward for the rep to count. Only successful jumps are counted, not attempts.

After completing round '1' the athlete should perform 4 of each movement, then 6..8.. etc at 10 minutes the workout ends and the score = total reps.

1 calorie on the rower = 1 rep.

Movement Standards

Pull Up

The athlete must start each rep with arms fully extended and feet off the ground. • Any style of pull-up or grip is permitted as long as the requirements are met. The rep is credited when the athlete’s chin breaks the horizontal plane of the bar. • Wrapping tape around the pull-up bar or wearing hand protection (gymnastics-style grips, gloves, etc.) is permitted, but taping the bar AND wearing hand protection is not.
