About This Competition

Join us for the 5th Annual "Battle At the Lab", hosted by CrossFit Dunbar Cave Lab. 

This year's TITLE Sponsor is Tap House 57.

The event is a 2-day partner competition May 14th & 15th for MM and FF teams that want to throw down and test their skills on the competition floor. 

This years event will have 6 Divisions:

  • RX Males
  • RX Females
  • Intermediate Males
  • Intermediate Females
  • Scaled Males
  • Scaled Females

Limited spots in each division, so be sure to register early!

DIVISION STANDARDS

The below list of movements is not all encompasing and is subject to change. Movements may not all be utilized. This list is to give you a general idea of the movements and weights you may see in each division. Both members should plan to be able to perform all movements and weights.

RX & Intermediate will compete on Saturday, May 14th and Scaled will compete on Sunday, May 15th.

Cash prizes awarded to Top 3 teams in RX divisions, with Intermediate & Scaled divisions receiving physical prizes. 

Price $140 per team

Athlete Registration Opens 1/17/22 and Closes 5/06/22 or when divisions are full.

MUST register by 5 PM on 4/15/22 to guarantee a shirt.

  • Registrations going forward will NOT include an Athlete T-Shirt.

Please note that no refunds will be issued unless the competition is cancelled. Registrations can be transferred to another athlete until 48 hours prior to the competition. If there is an athlete subsitition, teams must notify CrossFit Dunbar Cave Lab of the changes made. 

There will be 3 workouts plus a Final for each division.

At 3.2.1.Go......athletes will have 8 minutes to establish a 1RM Complex of 3 Front Squats + 1 Shoulder to Overhead.

Score = Combined weight of Highest Sucessfull Complex from each partner.

(Partner A lifts 150#, Partner B lifts 160#, Score = 310#)
