EVENT 1 - "Hammer Time" (0:00 - 6:00)
5 rounds for time
9 jumping pull-up
7 front squat
5 bar over burpee
(cap 6min)
Men 40kg
Women 25kg
Events 1 and 2 will be performed consecutively, with the clock running continuously from 0 to 14 minutes.
Event 1 is done for time. The athlete begins by standing under the pull-up bar. After the call of “GO” the athlete begins the workout by performing 9 jumping pull-ups, followed by 7 front squats and 5 bar over burpees. This sequence is repeated for a total of 5 rounds. The athlete’s score will either be the total time taken to complete all the required repetitions or, if the 6-minute time cap is reached, the number of reps completed within that limit.
After the 6-minute time cap, the athlete will have a 2-minute rest period before the start of Event 2. If the athlete finishes Event 1 in less than 6 minutes, the rest period will be extended accordingly. For example, if Event 1 is completed in 5 minutes, the athlete will have 3 minutes of rest before Event 2 begins.
EVENT 2 - "Road Trip" (8:00 - 14:00)
6 min AMRAP of
20 clean & jerk
120 single unders
AMRAP of clean & jerks
Men 40kg & 50kg clean & jerks
Women 25kg & 35kg clean & jerks
Events 1 and 2 will be performed consecutively, with the clock running continuously from 0 to 14 minutes. Event 2 will start at 08:00.
Event 2 is a 6-minute AMRAP of clean and jerks combined with single unders. The athlete begins standing tall behind the barbell. After the call of "GO," the athlete performs 20 clean & jerks with weight 1, followed by 120 single unders and amrap of clean & jerks with weight 2. The athlete’s score is the total number of repetitions completed within the 6-minute time cap. In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker will be the time it took to complete the 120 single unders.
The athlete is permitted to use only one barbell throughout the workout and is responsible for all weight changes. Assistance is not allowed.
EVENT 3 - “Rep Frenzy”
4 rounds for repetitions
1min db hang snatch
1min hanging knee raises
1min row (calories)
1min rest
Men 15kg DB
Women 10kg DB
Event 3 consists of 4 rounds where the athlete accumulates as many repetitions as possible in three movements: dumbbell hang snatches, toes-to-bar, and calories on the rower. Each round follows this format:
Minute 1: Dumbbell hang snatches
Minute 2: Hanging knee raises
Minute 3: Rowing for calories
Minute 4: Rest
This sequence is repeated for 4 total rounds, with the athlete’s score being the total number of repetitions completed across all rounds.
The event is done with a continuously running clock from 0 to 15 minutes. Each round begins with the athlete standing tall behind the dumbbell. After the call of "GO," the athlete has 1 minute to perform as many dumbbell hang snatches as possible. In the second minute, the athlete completes as many toes-to-bar as possible, and in the third minute, the athlete accumulates as many rowing calories as possible.
Important Rules
- The rowing handle may not be touched before the start of the rowing minute and must be released before the minute ends. Make sure the monitor can be clearly seen on your video submission
- The athlete is not required to switch hands after each dumbbell hang snatch; all reps can be performed with the same hand, or the athlete may alternate hands after each repetition as desired.
- Any reps completed outside of the designated minute will not count.
- Athletes are allowed to receive assistance in resetting the rower between rounds.
The athlete’s final score is the total number of repetitions completed across all movements over the 4 rounds.
