We’re back — bigger, louder, and ready to raise the bar. The District Games returns to the great outdoors for another full day of fitness, community, and unforgettable moments.
🔥 Competition Format:
Teams of 4 Athletes → 2 Males + 2 Females
Two divisions to suit your vibe:
• Everyday – ideal for athletes taking on their first comp, or anyone who loves pushing boundaries with good energy
• Intermediate – for those ready to throw down and test their capacity against tougher competition
No Gymnastics – once again, both divisions are all grit, no handstands required.

Workout 1: The Lift
Category: Strength
Movement: 1 Male & 1 Female: 2RM STOH 1 Male & 1 Female: 2RM Hang Clean
Team Composition: 2 Males, 2 Females
Time Cap: 15 Minutes
Score: Combined total weight lifted across all 4 athletes in kg
Workout:
- 5 Sync Team Burpees
- 20 Sync BB Hang Clean & Press
- 20m Sync BB Walking Lunge
- 5 Sync Team Burpees
- 20 Sync BB Front Squats
- 20m Sync BB Walking Lunge
- + Add 5 Team Burpees each round
Score: Total Rounds + Reps Completed in 15 Minutes BB: Females @ 35kg / Males @ 50kg
Workout Flow
- 15-minute AMRAP — the team repeats the full round as many times as possible until 15mins is up.
- On GO, all 4 athletes start together on Team Burpees — this movement is always performed by the full team in sync.
- After the Team Burpees, 1 male + 1 female step up to work the barbell station (Hang Clean & Press, then Walking Lunge) together in sync, while the other 2 teammates rest/wait.
- The working pair does not need to be the same athletes each time — teams may substitute their working pair between and/or during stations or rounds as they please.
- Round sequence: Team Burpees (x4) → BB Hang Clean & Press (1M+1F) → BB Walking Lunge (1M+1F) → Team Burpees (x4) → BB Front Squats (1M+1F) → BB Walking Lunge (1M+1F).
- Team Burpee reps increase by 5 every round and continue climbing for as long as the team keeps working:
- Round 1 = 5 reps per burpee station
- Round 2 = 10 reps per station,
- Round 3 = 15 reps per station,
- Round 4 = 20 reps per station, and so on.
- The team may not overlap stations (e.g., the working pair cannot start the Front Squats before all 4 athletes have finished the second Team Burpee station in that round).

- 5 Sync Team Burpees
- 20 Sync DB Hang Clean & Press (1M + 1F)
- 20m Sync Walking Lunge (All 4)
- 5 Sync Team Burpees
- 20 Sync DB Front Squats(1M + 1F)
- 20m Sync Walking Lunge (All 4)
- + 5 Team Burpees each round
Score: Total Rounds + Reps Completed in 15 Minutes
DB: Females @ 2 x 10kg / Males @ 2 x 15kg

Workout Flow
- 15-minute AMRAP — the team repeats the full round as many times as possible until time expires. There is no fixed number of rounds; the clock, not a round count, ends the workout.
- On GO, all 4 athletes start together on Team Burpees — this movement is always performed by the full team in sync.
- After the Team Burpees, 1 male + 1 female step up to work towards the the DB Hang Clean & Press reps together in sync, while the other 2 teammates rest/wait.
- Once theHang Clean & Press reps are complete , all 4 athletes come together for the Walking Lunge — 20m, in sync as a full team.
- The same pattern repeats for the second half of the round: Team Burpees (all 4) → DB Fr Squats (1M+1F, other 2 rest) → Walking Lunge, 20m (all 4).
- The working pair for the DB stations does not need to be the same athletes each time — teams may substitute their working pair between and/or stations or rounds, unless.
- Round sequence: Team Burpees (x4) → DB Hang Clean & Press (1M+1F) → Walking Lunge 20m (x4) → Team Burpees (x4) → DB Fr Squats (1M+1F) → Walking Lunge 20m (x4).
- Team Burpee reps increase by 5 every round and continue climbing for as long as the team keeps working:
Round 1 = 5 reps per burpee station,
Round 2 = 10 reps per station,
Round 3 = 15 reps per station,
Round 4 = 20 reps per station, and so on.
Workout 2: Pressed For Time
Time Cap: 15 Minutes
Team Format: Mixed 4s (2 Males, 2 Females)
Scoring: Total Snatch Reps Completed Across the 3 Rounds
