Workouts

Olympic Total Athletes will have three attempts to get the heaviest weight possible for the following movements in this order: -Snatch -Clean & Jerk Score will be total weight successfully lifted across both movements with a Sinclair Score applied. WitchLift Rules: Flow: Athletes will have declared Opening weights for all lifts at registration. After each attempt athletes will declare their next attempt. After a made lift athletes must go up by a minimum of 1lb Athletes may NOT go down once a weight is declared Athletes will have 3 attempts to achieve a 1RM Snatch -Athletes will have 1 minute once bar is set -Athletes may lift when ready -Bar must be lifted in one motion and caught with elbows locked out -If the bar is lifted above the knee that is considered an attempt -Any bend of the elbow, once the bar is overhead, is a no lift -No Part of the body, except the feet, may touch the ground. -Athlete must hold the bar overhead until head judge gives a down call -Athlete must keep hands on bar until it is below the hip -Any Slamming of the bar is an automatic No Lift Clean & Jerk -Athletes will have 1 minute once bar is set -Athletes may lift when ready -Bar must be lifted in two motion - Athlete must clean the bar up to their shoulder. Power, Split, or Squat Clean are accepted. -If the bar is lifted above the knee that is considered an attempt -The Athlete MAY NOT reposition the bar to a higher point on the shoulder than wear the athlete catches the bar -No part of the athlete can touch the athletes body in support of the lift. ie Elbows touching knees or legs -The Athlete must then perform any version of a Jerk to get the bar overhead. Push Jerk, Split Jerk, or Squat Jerk is accepted. -Any bend of the elbow, once the bar is overhead, is a no lift -No Part of the body, except the feet, may touch the ground. -Athlete must hold the bar overhead until head judge gives a down call -Athlete must keep hands on bar until it is below the hip -Any Slamming of the bar is an automatic No Lift Equipment -Lifting Shoes -Weightlifting shoes -Flat Shoes -CrossFit Shoes -Weightlifting Belt -Wrist Wraps -Singlet Not Accepted -Shoes -Boots -No Shoes -Lifting Slipper -Squat Suit -Full Body Suit

Athletes will have 3 attempts to get heaviest weight possible for each of the following lifts in this order: - Back Squat - Bench Press - Deadlift Score will be total weight successfully lifted across all three movement with a Wilkes Score applied. WitchLift Rules: Flow: Athletes will have declared Opening weights for all lifts at registration. After each attempt athletes will have 1 minute to declare their next attempt. After a made lift athletes must go up by a minimum of 1lb Athletes may NOT go down once a weight is declared Athletes will have 3 attempts to achieve a 1RM Standards: Back Squat -Athletes will have 1minute once bar is set to start the lift. -Once the bar is unracked the athlete can take the remainder of their 1 minute to start the lift -Once the athlete is set, the athlete will look up to confirm they are ready -Athletes will wait for a start command from the head judge, but does not have to start once the command is given -Athletes will travel down until the hip crease is below the top of the knee, and stand back up til their hips and knees are at full extension -Athletes will then wait for a Rack call from the head judge -Athletes must achieve a minimum of 2 "White Lights' for the three judges to make it a good lift that counts towards their total Bench Press -Athletes will have 1minute once bar is set to start the lift. -Once the bar is unracked the athlete can take the remainder of their 1 minute to start the lift -Athletes may have a lift off, but Start call will not be given till spotter is out of the way of the head judge -Athletes will wait for a start command from the head judge, but does not have to start once the command is given -Athletes will travel down until the bar is motionless on their chest. When bar is motionless the head judge will give a Press command -Athlete will then press the bar to lock out -Any downward motion of the bar is an automatic failed attempt -Athletes will then wait for a Rack call from the head judge -Athletes must achieve a minimum of 2 "White Lights' for the three judges to make it a good lift that counts towards their total -Athletes' butt, shoulders, and feet must stay in contact with the bench or ground at all times during the lift Deadlift -Athletes will have 1minute once bar is set to start the lift. -There is no start command for the dealdlift and athlete may begin the lift once the bar is set -An attempt will be counted anytime the bar is pulled off the ground -Any downward motion or hitching of the barbell will be ground for a no lift from judges - Athlete will then lift the bar until hips and knees are locked out and shoulders are behind the bar. -Athlete will then wait for a down call from the head judge -Hands must stay on the bar all the way to the ground or it is an immediate no lift. Equipment: -Lifting Shoes -Weightlifting shoes -Flat Shoes -CrossFit Shoes -Weightlifting Belt -Wrist Wraps -Singlet Not Accepted - Shoes -Boots -No Shoes -Lifting Slipper -Squat Suit -Full Body Suit
