About This Competition

Asia Championships is a yearly gathering of affiliates, designed to celebrate and support talent in the Asia region. We are a three-stage individual competition, which begins every year on the 1st of January. 

Only invited athletes should register for the Grand Final.

Every incomplete rep counts as one second over time cap plus an extra second for not getting to the finish mat

Complete for time: Weighted Run 34 Chest to Bar Pull Ups* 34 Overhead Squats* (Elite: 42KG/30KG / Legacy: 42KG/30KG) Weighted Run 21 Chest to Bar Pull Ups* 21 Overhead Squats* (Elite: 42KG/30KG / Legacy: 42KG/30KG) Weighted Run 21 Chest to Bar Pull Ups* 21 Overhead Squats* (Elite: 42KG/30KG / Legacy: 42KG/30KG) * With every break in the set athletes will perform one penalty run along the designated route before picking up where they left off 18 minute time cap. Every incomplete rep counts as one second over time cap plus an extra second for not getting to the finish mat

Complete for time: 2,000m Row 8 minute (male) and 9 minute (female) time caps. Every 5 meters not completed will count as one second over time cap As so as the athlete finishes, he or she may go to the start mat to get ready for Event 4: Redemption

Continuing one minute after Event 3, complete for time: 30 Ring muscle ups (males) 15 Ring muscle ups (females) Every 6/3 muscle ups the athlete will move their marker to the next station. After the 5th round of 6/3 muscle ups, the athlete will run to the finish mat 6 minute time cap. Every incomplete rep counts as one second over time cap plus an extra second for not getting to the finish mat

For Time: Round 1: 25m Handstand Sprint Elimination (top 24 times advance) Round 2: 25m Handstand Sprint Elimination (top 8 times advance) Round 3: 25m Handstand Sprint Athletes will be given placings based on their finishes for each heat. athletes in the final heat will receive 1 to 8 points based on their finish (fastest will receive 1 point). Athletes eliminated in round 2 will receive 9 to 24 points, and athletes not exceeding the first round will receive 25 to 48 points. Least number of points wins

For time: 7 Parallette kipping HSPU 7 Deadlifts (Elite: 150KG/100KG / Legacy: 125KG/85KG) 7 Strict HSPU 7 Deadlifts (Elite: 150KG/100KG / Legacy: 125KG/85KG) 7 Freestanding HSPU 7 Deadlifts (Elite: 150KG/100KG / Legacy: 125KG/85KG) 5 minute time cap.
