Into The Storm- Elbarrio's Annual Competition
About This Competition
Into the Storm is Elbarrio’s first official Cross-Training Championship designed to test strength, endurance, skill, and mental toughness. Athletes will face three workouts designed to simulate the unpredictability of a storm — fast, intense, and demanding.
Only those willing to run into the storm will make it through.
📅 Workout Release Schedule
Workouts will be released according to the following schedule:
Workout 1: Released on 24/3/2026
Workout 2: Released on 24/03/2026
Workout 3: Released on 24/03/2026
💳 Refund Policy
All registrations are final and non-refundable.
If a team cannot attend, registration may be transferred to another Team before the transfer deadline.
No transfers will be accepted after the deadline.
👥 Division
There will be one division only:
Team Division (3 Athletes per Team)
Each team must consist of:
2 Male Athletes
1 Female Athlete
Workouts will be designed to test teamwork, strategy, and communication in addition to individual strength and conditioning.
🔁 Substitution Policy
Athlete substitutions may be allowed under the following conditions:
The replacement athlete must meet the division requirements (2 males + 1. female per team).
2. Substitutions must be submitted to the event organizers before the deadline.
3. Late substitutions may not be accepted.

- Both male and female athletes will jump over 40-inch wall (2 x 20-inch boxes).
- Each team will have one 60 kg Sandbag and one 40 kg Sandbag.

- One Athlete works at a time.
- Each athlete must tell the judge which movement they want to do at the beginning of the entire workout, and they must keep doing the same movement.
- Athletes MUST do at least 1 rep of the movement they chose before switching.
- Athletes MUST keep rotating in the same order.

- 2 athletes MUST keep carrying the worm off the floor the entire time for reps to count.
- Athletes can rotate as desired.
15 min to establish 1RM Clean & Jerk Team Total
- As a team, divide the 15 minutes among yourselves as you wish.
- Partners may assist with loading the weights.
